Re: Cheap Thrill...

That's absolutely brilliant :) Now I'm going to go through all my old Lego again in the vain hope something slipped in there... Ha! I already did exactly that a few months back... tipped the whole thing out (we had it in a big wooden chest my Dad made for 7" singles) and found all sorts of gem...

Re: Empire strikes back with adverts

There is currently a project underway to move all the old Action Force videos over to digital (and DVD too I believe) and they are apparently very good quality. I did all my family ones myself; it was cheaper to buy a super 8 tape player with DVR built in than send the volume I had away; a fair few ...

I was tempted by that myself, but got suckered into buying it quick and easy in HMV instead of ordering it!

Re: The Last Jedi - DVD / BluRay releases

I'll kick it off by saying I got my copy from HMV; I opted for the 4k double disc with the extras disc too. Nicely packaged with a slip case. Not cheap, but decided to future proof as my TV will probably finally die in a the 12 months anyway. EXTRAS I loved them! A couple of deleted scenes that I th...

The Last Jedi - DVD / BluRay releases

Just thought it would be a nice idea to start a thread on the DVD BluRay releases that came out a week or so ago. I know some folk don't like the film as much as others and that some loved the film, can't be arsed with listening to all that prattling on again... so please stick to the Extras on teh ...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

Been a while since I’ve picked anything up as I’m sitting on a list of hard to find wants... these two though very happily came across my path:

Re: valuation please

Made by Nikko, the same guys that make low end RC cars (toy quality), so if that’s anything to go by... maybe £50-£100 IMO. Certainly not a valuable or quality item

Re: Most Underrated Vehicle

Rebel Transport for me... fantastic toy! I’ve always found it odd how malaigned it is. OK, it can be seen as a carry case, but it’s so much more. It’s part vehicle and part playset in its own right. It has a trap door, two pilot seats, removable gun turrets... I used to love racking all my figures u...
