Re: To break or not to break?

Wouldn't even hesitate; break it out the moment it arrives I assume that you have broken a few of these out over the years? Have you ever caused any damage to the card? I assume that the weak point is the joint along the bottom where the base meets the back? Do you leaver that joint away carefully?...

Re: The Last Jedi Trailer latest trailer

Well, I set the alarm and watched it a dozen times before popping back to sleep.. watched it again and again over breakfast.. got to work, booked for two showings and then booked more tickets for Grant. As far as a review of the trailer, I thought it was excellent... so many details and again a real...

Re: 2017 Collecting Goals, hopes and dreams

I'm doing OK so far. I have been somewhat distracted by other collecting runs than the below though, so I've been distracted from the list. Overall though, very happy - Hero three pack; any condition or even a part complete example. Well it has Han in so I may as well dream... Yeah, no chance, but a...

I'd agree, not really worth selling, but a great thing to keep in a box or on a shelf for that nostalgia hit whenever you feel the need :D

Re: What are Your Favourite & Least Favourite Vintage Weapons / Accessories?

Smuggler Blaster is my favourite by far and not just because of my love for all things Solo, I just love the scale, the shape, the way it fits in Greedo's hand and Han Hoth's holster... Least favourite has to be (as others have said) Bossk's rifle, simply impossible to hold unless its wedged in some...

Re: Palitoy MOC hybrid Greedo

The AFA one has ended already, so one must presume it has sold to an offer as the seller carefully adds their email address and asks to not receive offers through eBay...
Still on my hit list to get as I only have two of the hybrids so far, but I'll politely turn down the £1k price Simon

Re: Amazing Star Wars paintings - using vintage figurines!

They say that you can't put a price on art... Joe Simpson certainly has though
In all seriousness, very beautiful paintings, personally I like the paint rub on Luke's toe, really adds some life to it

Yep, I've bought quite a few things from Etsy over the years. It's very hit and miss as to what comes up, but occasionally something cool does come along 8)

Loose was a Yoda and a pop up R2.. kinda like that they have a synergy when I look at it
MoC was oddly (given the above) an Emperor's Royal Guard in literally the worst condition... still have it too!

Re: Star Wars Tracker Advice

I just renewed my annual subscription a few days ago. Jared does a great job and the tracker is getting better and better. Like Steve said, it's "worth every penny" (.. and it is just pennies, compared to the funds we are pumping in our collections). Everybody should give it at least a tr...

Re: Has Disney ruined Star Wars?

Anyway, In response to the thread title; Has Disney Ruined Star Wars; my answer is No, not at all. We had a franchise that due to many negative purists that hated the Special Editions and subsequently the Prequels was very much on the back foot... A franchise supported by terrible toys in the POTF2 ...
