Re: Displaying Helmets

I'm sure a few of you have helmets in your collections. I've recently purchased an Emperor's Royal Guard helmet and am looking for a stand to display it on. I can find quite a few stands but for a more standard helmet like the Stormtrooper or Fett helmet for example. The ERG helmet is a fair bit lo...

Re: Farthest From XV Sunday August 5th & 6th

I'm planning on visiting Puzzlewood on Sat around dinner time if anyone fancies an hour or so. Will fill details nearer the time Dang it, I've made plans for Saturday lunchtime now... so unlikely I'd make that, might try to tie in something on the Friday though as I'm on leave that week. Do keep me...

The tale of the third Yak... So, Jez and I had discussed the Yak's in Wantage in advance of his trip, I had an interest but not one that meant I was racing to beat anyone to one of them and I was over the moon when Jez called to say that he and Rich picked up the two they did. After Jez picked his u...

Re: Swindon Comicon 3rd and 4th June

Oh, I should add, the event is in the Steam Museum, which is right next to the big Outlet Village, so if you're struggling for a pass out.. offer to take the other half somewhere different to go 'bargain' shopping and they'll have just as much fun as you!

Swindon Comicon 3rd and 4th June

Second year having a Comicon in Swindon and it looks like its getting bigger this year... at least from the guest list that's being thrown around. It has a large(r) focus on general celebrities that just SW of course, with folk from Red Dwarf, Primeval, WWF through to TV classics like Allo Allo and ...

Keith & Paddy's Picture Show - Return of The Jedi

I'm not a big fan of Leigh Francis, I mean bits of Bo Selector were very funny, but the Celebrity Juice show does nothing for me at all. I still thought I'd give the new 'Picture Show' a go as they have done a parody of Return of the Jedi. I loved it, I was in tears by the end... the intonation when...

Best bum by a mile too! You know what, her bum made me start this thread. Such a perfect Peach :D Climbing to get the plans? I went to see it (on one of my silly large amount of cinema visits) with a female friend of mine and at the end of the film, the first thing that she said was "wo...

Re: ive just played vintage starwars dominoes

I had a similar experience in the last week.. moved the cabinet (while full)... yes I know... and it moved 11 of the 12 inches fine, last inch caught an edge and the cascade behind glass was underway. To be fair only a couple of dozen fell, but wit the glass doors shut, prizing them open and correct...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

Been adding to my Vinyl collection over the last couple of months. Rather than share them piecemeal I thought I'd wait till I had a group to put up on the LA thread: 6420F88D-FDCA-4836-A0B3-3F4873DD6368.jpg Plenty more to get, but it's a relatively cheap collection to start to get hold of, still tur...
