Re: Original card backs - how do sellers obtain these?

I sell batches of them quite often because I'm always upgrading my one-of-each-figure set to an earlier or nicer card. I suspect I'm not alone: they're the sort of thing that are on the move quite a lot.

That's a cracker.

I always think that Qui Gon figures could happily sit in a Christmas Manger set up. Not this one though.

Many thanks to all involved for the work required for these to happen. It's always a listening highlight of my month.

I'd have liked that.

I remember liking them changing the pictures on some of them circa 84. It would have made trips to the toy shop even more overwhelming.

The TIE Pilot card.

If you can't find a picture Iif the character then at least show the FRONT of his vehicle, ffs. Like they did on the Trilogo eventually.

Re: THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 41 LAUNCHED

Btw, the Yellow Pearl thing wasn't a criticism. I reckon the production standards to be brilliant and well above what's required. It's just that one note of that tune gives me a freight every month. :D

Re: THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 41 LAUNCHED

Great episode as ever - thankyou!

Oh and if you're trying to give me a jump scare by having the opening screech of 'Yellow Pearl' just a bit too loud then it is working!

Those stickers fall into that aforementioned 'Paploo and Klaatu getting over-represented' category.

Re: Where Will You Watch Episode VIII?

I've booked the ONLY wheelchair seat in my local multiplex that's not right at the front in the sore neck spaces for the first showing of opening day. The first one that isn't the midnight showing, that is.

Cineworld, Silverburn, Glasgow.

Beautiful figure deemed mediocre by the grading world.

I'd break it if I knew what I was doing ( which I don't ).

Re: Near Perfect Repros

It's a remarkable coincidence that he's found himself with a large amount of an unknown variant of Leia blasters and Jawa blasters and Luke sabres and God knows what else. He's been terribly unlucky. Seriously though, similar to what's been said above, as someone who briefly owned two of these they ...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

Haven’t posted in this thread for a while  . Got this poster yesterday, it’s a bit rough to say the least but it’s one I’ve never had before. I love that sort of thing. Congratulations. I'm always meaning to start a thread about toy shop based euohemera that isn't even SW branded . I'm scared...

Re: Klaatu over-representation

Klaatu in his PJs .......but what about other shots? :D There's that shot that appears on the Luke Jedi card. In it's wider form, Klaatu is pulling some sinister shapes behind him. None of which explains why this exists.... https://i.ebayimg.com/thumbs/images/g/PzUAAOSw2n5ZiNlK/s-l225.jpg ..in an E...

I just looked it up. So he does, and so does Prune Face.

Yeah Williams Jnr played Klaatu in his skiff version in Yuma. There's a different guy playing him in the palace scenes in London as seen in the old 'Making Of' specials.

Re: What are Your Favourite & Least Favourite Vintage Weapons / Accessories?

I hear a few guys saying they welcomed the Luke Bespin sabre but I loved the original ( ok, single-telescoping ) sabres. Great playability - you could even make the noise along with extending it. C'mon? :D One of my earliest SW memories is thinking the Vader sabre was the bee's knees. An obvious cho...
