Re: Acrylic vintage blaster display

I've had a little play around with this tonight and done a crude version just to see what happens. It's not necessarily how I'd arrange the weapons and they're not dead straight but it shows the idea. They stay on well even at an almost vertical angle. You would prob have to make adjustments if your...

Re: Acrylic vintage blaster display

Might be something as simple as a small spindle glued to the acrylic at each end of the weapon so they can sit freely, if you know what I mean Lindo's onto something here, this is the sort of thing I was thinking of. I'm going to have a play around with this idea and see if I can come up with somet...

Re: Acrylic vintage blaster display

There is already a shortage and price hike for accessories before you weapon hoggers waste them on a figureless display. There is limit to acrylics uses. What next? One for Klaatu skirt variants and folk getting prune face cloaks graded. What a strange thing to say :o People can collect whatever th...

Re: Acrylic vintage blaster display

This is a really cool idea. I have a lot of spare accessories and have been thinking of doing a weapon/accessory display like this. I want to do a vertical one though like a picture frame or something and think of a way to hold the weapons. I wonder if this could be stood up with a support behind to...

Re: Han Solo - DIRECTOR CHANGE

I heard about this and they said they got the boot because they were making it too much of a comedy and did not have the same creative vision as the producers. I've got no expectations, there's only one Han Solo!

Fishing for interest and offers is not generally viewed well on here. I'd post some photos and state the price you want for it. Good luck

Re: REPORT an ebay seller for passing off repro as genuine!!

We already have a sticky for this in the ebay section mate: http://www.starwarsforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=8781 No need to start another  Edit: I see what you're trying to do but ebay are notoriously slack on policing counterfeit and fake items and 9/10 will do fuck all about it. There...

Re: Last 17

When I started collecting I set out to collect a full set of loose and I'd like to achieve it but I'm still not there. Gradually ticking off those last 17....still need a fair few of them. I think the price and perceived rareness affects peoples opinion of them. Who wants to pay 60 quid for a lame f...

Re: Idiot ebay sellers

Sounds like you've had a mare but you're only experiencing what we all do every now and then. The simple fact is if there's a problem with an item that is not described or pointed out in the listing description then you're entitled to return it for a full refund regardless of the photos. And if it t...

Re: The new Hot Toys SW figures are insane!

I was looking at these sort of things at Celebration London (can't believe a year's gone by!). They are pretty amazing up close but with this kind of statue/model personally I think the droids and helmeted ones look better than the human faced ones. Saying that these ones are incredibly detailed, th...
