EV-9D9 arm swap

So I have two vintage EV-9D9 figures; one which only has a right arm and one which only has a left arm. In both cases the arms are still attached and pretty stiff. I'd really like to take an arm from one to use on the other without causing any damage to the figures or arms. Does anyone have any advi...

Re: Buying in the 80's how we used to buy figures

We bought through conventional toy stores, and sold up not longer after the 77-backs started appearing on shelves so I missed out on the bargain bins of the mid/late 80s. I started collecting again in the early/mid 90s, and my favourite memory of collecting was reading through Model and Collector's ...

Re: The future of Vintage Star Wars collecting

Great post. One of the things I love about SWFUK is we're able to have discussions/debates like this without resorting to meme wars! Personally I'm sceptical about how much vintage SW toys will command in the future. As has been mentioned the price of Dinky etc... has nosedived, and I've seen a simi...

Re: Original Blu-Rays

Please don't buy the despecialised editions. People have put years of effort into creating these fan edits and making them available to download for free, then scum come along and spend a couple of hours putting them onto blu-ray and knocking a couple of covers together and charge ridiculous amounts...

Here's another 31-back Kenner MOC. I bloody love this cardback!

Re: Price sticker dilemma

Originally I wasn't a fan of price stickers, but over time they've grown on me. I think it's mainly because of the history associated with the MOC. I'm lucky enough to own a MOC and MISB item from two of my childhood stores; I never ever thought that'd happen. I actually own this Leia Bespin with a ...

Re: GW Acrylic FREE Giveaway time! WINNER ANNOUNCED!!!!

I was the very, very lucky winner :D Wow! I never win anything, so I am amazed! Christian is always amazing with his customer service and he was no different in getting the prizes to me. These are hugely appreciated, I can't wait to get my MOCs and loose figures into these. Thanks again, Christian ...

Now you've got everyone wondering what the first most over hyped figure is!

(red bar R5 right?)

Now there's an idea for a forum poll!

thanks for sharing the pictures, that box looks awesome and cool with the childhood picture 8) do you still have all your childhood items on the picture ? :D Looks like you have played a lot with the toy, no stickers on the little r2-d2  mine had the same problem when I was a kid, I was stup...

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 43, 2018, Part 2/2

One of my all-time favourites, both as a kid and collector. As a kid this looked so close to what appeared in the film that it fascinated me. I've posted this before but here I am with my brother with our combined SW toys (and the plastic knife that went everywhere with him for a while!) - my R2 can...

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 43, 2018, Part 1/2

This is one of my all time favourite playsets (beneath the Ewok Village). I loved it as a kid, the playvalue was immeasurable. The Jabba playset is one of my earliest childhood Star Wars memories, when I visited my grandparents in Hamburg. When I arrive, the playset was already put on my bed ... ju...

Nice Jabbas guys!

I never had this as a kid, but for some reason I'm really attracted to the Sears 'line art' box version - it's on my list of things I'd like nut I've still not snagged an reasonably priced one.

Re: Who else remembers taking a bath with these two guys?

I was wondering where this would be going when I read the subject...

A school mate of mine had both of these. I remember them being really solid so I can imagine it wasn't the best of soaps to use!!
