Re: Latest Acquisitions

Wow, some really gorgeous stuff over the past few pages. I particularly love the Palitoy die cast Star Destroyer, the die-cast TIE Bomber and the Leia Hoth Canadian MOC.

Re: What do you regret the most from your time in the hobby?

Being out of Star Wars in the late 80's/early 90's when stuff was being virtually given away, concentrating too much of my energies on collecting new Hasbro stuff in the nineties when I could have probably assembled a complete vintage Kenner collection for a fraction of what it would cost now, not ...

Re: PBP Rebel Soldier

There’s a thread discussing him on Jabba’s Court discussing the possibility of shill bidding as a large percentage of the bids were placed and or won by the same bidder... worth a read. There was a similar one on here a while ago too. Wouldn't surprise me one bit; his stuff has been selling massive...

Re: PBP Rebel Soldier

Usual story of this guy's stuff going for well, well over market price. I'm sure he'll be listing more of the same in the next month or two.

Loose figures

I've some duplicate loose figures I'm looking to move on. ⋅ I'll post the figures in a jiffy bag unless you prefer boxed. Anything over £20 will be sent insured. I'll get an actual cost for P&P ⋅ I've sold on here before with no problems, and have been selling on ebay for ove...

Re: A new New Hope!

Welcome to the forum and on your first step into a larger world. Two pieces of advice: Take your time, it's a marathon not a sprint. Lots of people spend too much too soon and burn out quickly; Don't sell any of your childhood figures - as Sublevel has said there are lots of us who'd swap our entire...

You should be asking him if it means it's been repossessed. And as for 'molded'...

Love the 'Conways Arts and Crafts' sticker on Leia Poncho! That's in Keighley, West Yorkshire and is one of my childhood shops :D It actually still exists as a toy shop today.

Re: now china also try to sell PBP items

You're right, China's a hotbed of fakery for all kinds of products. It's a problem we have at the company I work for, but it's not just restricted to China. We've just seized goods worth over 1.4 million in the UAE. Usually, if I see something's for sale on ebay outside Europe I wouldn't buy it anyw...

Re: Imperial Troop Transport Appreciation Thread

No, it's not irrational at all - I absolutely love this vehicle! I always wanted one as a kid and never had one, though one of the lads down the road had one; I seem to remember it and a couple of figures were his only Star Wars toys. I finally set about bagging myself a boxed Palitoy one a couple o...
