Re: Selling price advice

There is a valuation section to the forum - viewforum.php?f=3

You can post pictures there and I'm sure a few will be able to offer advice.

Re: Why do most SW fans say ESB is the best film in the OT?

ESB's always been my favourite for as long as I can remember. Even as I kid I remember being so frustrated about the gap between it being at the cinema and on TV. I remember being completely entranced as an 8 year old when it was released; I loved Star Wars but even then this felt like another level...

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 7, 2018, Part 1/2

Nice Land Speeder, and that's a fantastic price on those three items!

I do have a die-cast Land Speeder, but it's currently hovering its way across from the US!

(Edited for use of the phrase 'great price'. I feel so dirty).

Re: Where do you buy Rare MOC?

Or, if you have it, an obscene amount of money; but where's the fun in that? I can think of 1000 things to do for fun with an obscene amount of money. Absolutely! But the most fun part for me in vintage SW collecting is hunting down the items I want. I think if I had the money to buy whatever...

Re: Where do you buy Rare MOC?

As others have said it's about building up relationships with other collectors. They'll know who has what and will be in touch with others which will allow you to increase your network. As with many things in this hobby it takes time and patience. Or, if you have it, an obscene amount of money; but ...

Re: Vintage SW is still affordable - £50 or less MOCs latest acquisitions

Cheers guys. :D The recent spate of Yoda MOCs on the Latest Acquisition page reminded me how much I loved the card, so I started looking for a MOC example. I came across this one on ebay as an auction and it wasn't listed particularly well; even then I was amazed when no-one else bid on it. The CCP ...

Re: Is Star Wars only for the rich ?

I thought loose prices seemed to be stabilising or in some cases coming down of late? Certainly for non-last 17 figures anyway.

Re: Vintage SW is still affordable - £50 or less MOCs latest acquisitions

A couple here I'm really pleased with. Both from ebay.com and both came in at £45 each including postage to my brother in the US . The CCP is a 48-back with the additional bonus of a coin sticker. The Yoda a 32-back. Both cards have seen better days but I think flattening them, cleaning the Yoda car...

Re: No luck but am I being ripped off?

If you're serious about wanting to get yourself a decent Ben at a good price you'll need two things: Patience. Seriously, there's no rush. People put Buy it Now items on ebay at inflated prices because they know there are people out there who can't wait. Paying more than you should for one won't ma...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

Regarding price tags. I'm not a focus guy but one thing I enjoy is obsessively looking at the price labels of UK bought stuff to see if it's one of my old haunts. I've thought about starting a swap shop so that I could get people's unwanted Jolly Giants for my unappreciated Toy And Hobby.:) But wit...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

very cool on the childhood store stickers. I'm all for the childhood shop stickers. That's hard-core nostalgic material - I consider things like that pretty much priceless. Great score on the childhood price sticker...and on a Speeder Bike to boot.... I've got one from my childhood store too... to ...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

I've had two additions this week which, on the face of it, are nothing special. First is a really nice loose Han Bespin which means I've finally completed my loose first 77 run... 24 years after starting it with Han Trench and Leia Poncho! I've a few to upgrade before I decide whether or not to vent...
