Re: Time to call it a day.

I have been searching and I am sorry if I have bumped this thread and it's not suitable. Is there a 'Pickup,' collecting thread? I could only find this regarding losing the collecting Star Wars bug. I am going through this stage myself at the moment. Nothing serious just considering selling everythi...

Re: Is The Last Jedi better than Caravan of Courage?

I've never watched Caravan of Courage but I will soon. After watching the Star Wars Christmas special it gave me a bad feeling so I stayed to what I knew 'The originals' Is TLJ better? I'd say it is. I don't like TLJ myself but it has everything for a newer audience. It's a great action movie if tha...

Re: General Grumbling

I am forever grumbling about the lack of MOC Palitoy Logo'd stuff to buy, it doesn't get me anywhere but sometimes I feel the need to moan about it. I remember your posts about trying to complete your collection. Out of curiosity did you stop and sell up? Or are you still holding out? From what I r...

Re: CUSTOMS - legally avoid being screwed

Obviously I'm thinking this only applies to second hand items? I had to pay £156 on customs charges last week. It was all new items hobby /sports use in the package that i bought from the States. They were items from a shop/store ordered online and for personal use. All was listed on the label outsi...

Re: General Grumbling

Mine was the flimsy door struts and hinge on the Falcon. My Falcon stayed almost intact except for the hinge and ramp struts. It's in pieces now held on only by a bit of brown dried out sellotape. I can't remember it ever in working order. So that seems to me I broke it early on in my many battles a...

Re: WTF IS THIS?

:? That's not good, I see he also has a few more for sale. They look like they are all cased the same way as Chewie. I think that makes it clear it's not a legitimate grading company that cased them. There's no way they would have applied anything to the actual figures that they were grading.

Re: WTF IS THIS?

I'm trying to see how Chewie is held in place. I hope he hasn't used superglue on the feet and Fucked up another figure. I can see sellotape holding his Wookiee bowcaster in place. Oh shit yeah, plus it's one of those basic display cases you can grab off ebay with the sliding back, there's no way t...

Re: Farthest from favour!

If you really want a kenobi moc and don't have enough money to buy one. As was said pay PayPal back using installments or surly you have a mate borrow £200 and buy one. If either doesn't suit I doubt you'll get one until you save enough of your own money or just forget about it.

Re: Customs Charges

Interesting thread I have just ordered a few items from the States value $600 Inc shipping . It is now sitting in Customs at the moment unopened (from what I'm told). I had to contact them on Friday to confirm what the contents were. Now I'm told it's released and should be delivered Monday. I am no...

Re: Modern MOC 'investing'

I remember one user on here but I can't remember his name. He had boxes of mocs for sale not that long ago. I know it was a gamble buying them, it's funny how the originals hold the value and still rise. I guess it's collectors that grew up with the first movies keep the wheel turning. The newer moc...
