Re: 12 C VCJ with Harbert Sticker

I'd be shitting it if I read that fb post having just spend over 20k on a 'dream buy'. Nightmare! If the guy is buying it as an investment they'd struggle to sell it now into the future with that doubt cast over it. I'd want a pretty straight conversation with Vectis! Smells very dodgy to me.

Re: Vectis Auction - 40th Anniversary Sale

22k for the Palitoy VCJ. Wow. I'd be bricking it having something like that in the house. Having said that though an ultra ultra rare item, so can see the attraction and given that what people in the US pay for things, it should retain its value. Didn't the last one sell for c10k? That would be the ...

Re: Vintage Star Wars v G1 Transformers

Yeah, the KO and reissue versions I think kill it a little bit. I got Starscream for Christmas when I was a boy, it was one of the harder ones to find and my mum had pretended she couldn't find one, I'd forgotten that moment of opening the present until I found a loose one on ebay, so I then found a...

Vintage Star Wars v G1 Transformers

I grew up playing with both, originally with Star Wars and then got into the transformer cartoons. Transformers are also really cool, if not better toys, as toys themselves, and there's seemingly hundreds of them with variations. Anybody collect them on here? Not sure they have the emotional connect...

Outrageous, that firstly you could steal that from your mate, and then think you could sell it on and it never come out in the wash.

Re: Loose Variant Standardised Top List Definition?

Hollow tubes tusken would be a good addition. Tough ask I know and so many variants , but a small popular list might be a good thing to have for people like me to aim for. Really appreciate all input.

Loose Variant Standardised Top List Definition?

I've been building a collection of loose variants, but it struck me that there was nothing definitive to aim for so wondered if it was creating a first 12 / last 17 type standardised list of loose variants that a collector could aim for. It would be interesting to see what people think of the idea a...
