Re: Just popped in to see Toy Toni

Well, if they are binned /burried / washed at sea or anything like that it makes what he did even fucking worse. Assuming they are in a box somewhere, The decent thing to do would be to cough up, Sell / give them away and then they go 1 by 1 on a charity auction. That seems right / decent and I susp...

Re: Just popped in to see Toy Toni

His biggest mistake was not selling them as proof cards. The guy could have retired by now with the amount he had. Imagine what he could have made with all those Boba Fett proof cards. I bet he kicks himself every night knowing it too. Does anyone know what he did with the unused stock that did not...

Re: The day is coming....repro MOC

I see your point about “current” product but surely copyright lasts beyond the initial product life cycle. If you look at the Mocs we have they have copyright all over them. A quick google suggests copyright is valid for 70 years after the works published.

Re: The day is coming....repro MOC

I don’t understand how the repro market is allowed to exist. 99.9% of time you put any copyrighted image on something someone, be it a company themselves or a 3rd party agent of the company, hit you so hard with a copyright breach you won’t be doing it again in a hurry. And with a mega brand like St...

Re: Recarding figures for display. Your thoughts...

I’ve yet to see a repro Cardback that was a particularly close match to the real thing. Generally the print seems to be off, especially on the reverse. An option might be to get a cut bubble Cardback and putting a new bubble on the card. I have done this with a couple of RoTJ figures I simply did no...

Anyone Australia? Vintage for Sale

I need to get a gift / possibly two to relatives in Australia and rather than mess about giving Royal Mail a load of cash thought it worth asking if there are any Australian collectors willing to send to a NSW address once payment is made Ideally I am looking for loose complete - something like Han ...

Re: Is The Last Jedi better than Caravan of Courage?

A studio like Disney does not make films for a set generation, they go as broad on the demographic as possible. So while our kids might show more love than us, they are not the primary target audience. The broad strokes of the Last Jedi are what they are for the purpose of it being as accessible to ...
