Re: Best way to flatten curved cardback?

thanks for the advice! its just cardback without bubble (not a MOC) so i'll give the book a go... If this is the case, perhaps just put it in a toploader? You will need to make sure the size is right, but here's an example if you've not heard of them before: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Ultra-Pro-Toplo...

Re: THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 47 LAUNCHED

Just finished the last hour or so of this one. Was a lot of fun to be involved in the discussion, thanks for having me on. Loved the "Hard for Han" disco mix ;)

Re: Is Kenner worth more than Palitoy?

I tend to think early Palitoy is rarer and more pricey than early Kenner - I'm talking SW and ESB stuff when the Palitoy logo is still printed on the cardfronts. But when it comes to Jedi, I personally think the brandless palitoy jedi cards are a bit stale and much prefer the kenner ROTJ versions - ...

Re: SWFUK PODCAST - Episode 5 LAUNCHED

I also remember Rich being adamant he is not a *packaging collector* yet just today I see 4 MOC R5-D4 items being posted on FB in a "show and tell" post - things change, nothing ever stays the same ;)

Re: Tsukuda Question

I saw a Kenner 65A Tsukuda MOC a year or two back for the first time - usually the sticker is on the 65B where the ewoks are included. Only one I ever saw, was fortunate enough to get a picture from the seller on eBay.

Re: SWFUK PODCAST - Episode 5 LAUNCHED

But the best bit about it has to be listening to it in retrospect with the benefit of hindsight, to see how incredibly wrong you all were (with the exception of Pete) about the state of the market and its inevitable crash... That would be really fun/interesting to listen to some old market watch se...

Re: Kellerman Matrix

Thanks for the pics. The Kellerman book was a fantastic piece of work for it's time - but it was probably inevitable that it would need revision. It takes a lot of time and energy to maintain detail like this, so not surprising it may have fallen by the side now.

Re: THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 46 LAUNCHED

Great show as usual, still working through it. Thought I would share some pics of the Droid Factory packaging from Star Wars Tracker reference images. These are the Kenner and Kenner Canada variations. One thing I am curious of with the ESB packaging is that Luke appears to be a DT Luke if you look ...

Re: Whats more rare?

Let's just keep it simple and compare for one cardback Kenner 65A. Over the last year, less sales for the blue saber and for the most part 2x the price compared to the green version.

Re: Help / Advice needed from the pros!

Ok now I might be asking a crazy thing here but what would the chances be to find a DT Vader? Also what makes the figures genuine DT? Is it just the saber??? I DT Vaders are very hard to come by (same as a DT Ben) - a loose one will be circa US$10K (I know of a graded AFA90 one that sold for US$20K...

Re: Help / Advice needed from the pros!

Anyways Thanks for the advice guys! Who knows I may end up buying a Vader, Boba and DT Luke!!! hahahaha Don't laugh, that is what eventually happens to all of us here ;) And welcome! For what it's worth, I'd go the DT Luke. There are so many carded Vader variations available, and they ebb/fade with...

GW Acrylic cases and Star Wars Tracker labels - a match made in heaven and a serious alternative to grading! :)
