Re: Latest Acquisitions

Well done Edd, was waiting to see what it was you were after. As for me, fessing up time. This was a massive indulgence and mid-life crisis purchase. Hit 40 this year, and been doing lots of box ticking/bucket list type stuff. I saw this weeks ago, but from the 2 big auctions they have sold at befo...

Selling my childhood stuff on eBay

Was wondering how to sell these bits I found lying about my Mum’s place. Concluded way too much hassle to find individual prices, photograph, list, box, address, post etc Decided just to do as 2 lots. One is a beater figure lot, and the other is a beater ship/vehicle parts lot. Have a butchers 8) ht...

Re: Vectis Auction November 28th TV+Film

That was an astoundingly low price on an AFA 80 POTF Nikto. Was that just bad timing for the seller, or aren't these sought after any more? https://www.vectis.co.uk/kenner-star-wars-the-power-of-the-force-vintage-nikto-3-34-inch-_741069?search_string=nikto&records_per_page=24&collections_id=...

Re: Vectis Auction November 28th TV+Film

I was under bidder on a few things but got the one I really wanted, will post up in NA when it arrives :) well done, look forward to seeing what it is. I won the one thing I was really after. It was the most I've ever paid for a MOC, but quite a bit lower than the rare occasion it comes up, so went...

45 Back Palitoy Dengar nameplate/cardback

I want to cut a cleaner hole in my latest MOC and put an authentic name plate in it. I simply do not want to put a printed one in. Does anyone have a beater of a cardback for the right price that has the nameplate perfectly intact? Cheers

Re: Latest Acquisitions

For me I would buy a tatty damaged card back with complete nameplate and cut the namplate out with a scalpel and remove the final bit of nameplate from yours and pop it in there. I've done this before with great results and feel as long as the cardback that you cut the nameplate from isn't mint (th...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

Thoughts. Recent win on eBay. Paid 1/10th what a complete one sold for on SWFUK a little while ago, so saw this is a bargain and only way I’ll ever afford one. The seller had attached a printed nameplate so it displays a little better, but I personally don’t like that. My idea is to either display ...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

It only seems like a few months ago (probably because it was) that I bought my first 30 back having decided to put a run together after finishing my Palitoy first 12 on re-seals. Well, another 6 down means I only have 6 left to complete it! It's mainly thanks to some other members here and collecti...

High feedback numbers and 100%. Otherwise would have thought a joke.
