Re: Flipping still winds me up.

Flipping winds me up as well so I feel your pain. I lost out on a non SW item a while ago that was up for auction at Vectis and then noticed a month later that it was listed on eBay in the States for over 5 times what they'd paid. I'm still slightly annoyed I didn't get it but more annoyed with the...

Re: Flipping still winds me up.

Seller is Jonathan hart. He’s friends on here with another member who is a nice guy and does a lot for the community, but I think he (Jon) is a parasite. Thanks for the link. I was looking for where he got it from. He has history with this behaviour. He lurks on here as he has back doored other peo...

Re: Flipping still winds me up.

And imagine how much cheaper you might have won the figure for without the flipper bidding on it and outbidding you. Judging from his feedback it looks like he's also cancelled deals with bidders for not getting enough bids, and then basically blaming the buyers! :? Yeah I checked the bid history, ...

Re: the moment your doing the recyling from xmas day and.....

I had to get strict and throw out loads of boxes and filling. I have no intention of selling anything, yet was hording several boxes, a black bin liner full of packing nuts, and several newspapers.

Flipping still winds me up.

A 41 back Palitoy Yoda with the top corner cut sold in July. Went for £276. I was outbid. The listing is no longer searchable, but is still in my auction sniper page https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Star-Wars-Palitoy-41-Yoda-MOC-Empire-Strikes-Back-Last-Jedi-carded-RARE-/292192779666 Now it's popped...

Re: Some things i learnt from trying to sell on gumtree

Love reading this sort of thing. Like those people that like to play along with cold callers right up to the last second “oh no, I won’t be buying it, I just wanted to know all the details” after keeping them on the phone for 20 minutes :D

Re: The Last Jedi - **SPOILERS THREAD**

To my surprise I really enjoyed it! I thought it was better than TFA or R1. Of course there were some bits I didn't like, I still think Kylo Ren is a bit wet but I thought Rey was much better in this one. Luke was good. I thought Leia's 'coming back from the dead' was a bit inappropriate, surprised...

Haha, I think this is why I’ll just watch it the once, for now, as I seem to be one of the few who loved it, A LOT. Don’t want to spoil it.

Re: The Last Jedi - **SPOILERS THREAD**

- DJ: If he is such a good a breaking out of places, why was he waiting around in jail? - Holdo/Poe dynamic: Liked the tension but the whole mutiny thing was pointless. Why didn't she just say she had a plan? Ok that out of the way.. the fantastic bits: - Humour : understand why this i not to every...

Re: The Last Jedi - **SPOILERS THREAD**

WOW, sometimes I wonder if I'm a fan at all. My opinions always seem to be the opposite to most fans. I thought The Force Awakens was a 5/10, to the point where I tried to watch it for a second time, and could only manage to get half way through. Rogue One was better, getting 6.5-7, then watching ag...

Re: Charity shop find this morning :)

Dropped some stuff off at a very large charity shop out my way, asked if they ever get any old star wars toys. Nope. 99% of people know, or think they knows it's valuable
