Re: A New Repro... THE COLLECTORS STRIKE BACK

Reported.

Even through a "fuck you" to ebay in there and told them if they kept on allowing this unlicenced shit to sell I'd report THEM to Disney. Bet their scared now, yeah?

Re: Tri logo moc han carbonite

He does look nice and I think Carl's got it with £250. I'd reserve a 300+ valuation for something without the creases. 12 months ago these were still £200 in smashing condition :/

Re: ASTONS AUCTION ON NOW, THURS 21st

Wanted to watch the Kenner Boba Fett MOCs (about 3 or 4 of them) go through but forgot. Clearly someone has had a little old shop stock find as there were a number of MOCs with the same price sticker on them. Looks like the 4 x Bobas on Kenner 65 backs went for 400, 480, 500 and 550. There were a ha...

Re: ASTONS AUCTION ON NOW, THURS 21st

Lots and lots of models coming up :) Not even Vectis have mastered packing MOCs and they've had lots and lots of experience.....and a fair number of losses. A friend of mine bought some nice cards from there and was happy to pay me to pick them up rather than trust Astons to pack them. Ree Yees is a...

Re: ASTONS AUCTION ON NOW, THURS 21st

I know this is a bit late but Astons Auctions is Live now and there are still one or two Star Wars items to go Been watching that this morning. The bargain was a PBP 65 back El Retourno Ree Yees MOC for £100. Sadly, just not worth the bother and risk of having it posted. Never mind. A lot of the In...

Re: Return of the Jedi Super 8mm

What a truly odd thing to release in 1989. I can't get the link to work, sadly. When you say it might recreate the cinema experience, am I right in assuming it would have been in 4/3 though? Just checked the link and it works OK for me? Nope, not 4:3 but in glorious Cinemascope! An adaptor was requ...

£1,500 + 24% in 2015:

Part of the Frank Beech shop auction. Whether this have actually risen in price is, I guess, debatable.

Oh, those are in a Palitoy shipping case, incidentally. If Kenner shipper I'd expect them to be a good 20-30% less.

Re: Return of the Jedi Super 8mm

Well bugger me sideways and call me Roberta..... Well worth a read if you haven't done so already. It confirms that Derann most definitely did release ANH but that the ROTJ release was probably a bootleg from a US firm and not of all the reels, either: http://savestarwars.com/starwarsonfilm.html Thi...

Re: Return of the Jedi Super 8mm

Are you saying Derann released the ENTIRE ANH film on 8mm film? Wow. At first I didn't think that was even remotely possible, but I have a projector that can take a reel with 800 feet of film which plays for about 30 minutes, so I guess if you factor that up you end up with 4 full reels of film. Act...

Re: vinyl cape jawas on ebay.

Sorry to hear you've had issues, SubZero. I am a little surprised that you'd trust this dick enough to do a direct deal with him, though? And I'd have to agree with Carl; a Kenner ERG should be sub £100. No, not talking mint but c8 condition or there abouts. Palitoy ERGs are silly money at the mome...

Re: The LEGO Corner

Yeah, I am only reading Brickset, but there is a growing realisation that the early bird got the worm and the sales have been through the roof. Lego could have sold 300 last night, maybe 400, but i guess they wanted to keep it tight and had to draw a line somewhere. The thing was the queue didn't r...

Re: Genuine Vintage Blaster's ?

That sale stinks. Not sure without hunting them down but they look like the new batch of floating fakes that have been slightly roughed up. Parts of them are pristine clean and other parts have mud on  Just tried to check on TIG but it's having issues. I wouldn't touch these with a barge pole. ...
