Re: "Uncracked Limbs"

Picked up a case of childhood figures from the US recently. Never played with just just opened and put in the carry case. I moved the legs on a couple of the figures, a Lando and a Han Bespin. They were stiff like new and got to say.....there was a little crack when they shifted. Without a doubt the...

Re: Another seller passing off repro weapons as genuine

What an utter prick. If you can be arsed report as many of his listings as you can and then point out that his last piece of feedback is from the biggest source of repro weapons on ebay, thanking him for his custom. Utter, lowlife piece of shit. That's just fraud, plain and simple. In fairness the m...

Re: WANTED! Collectors in North West England.

Ooooh, you bunch of grumpy old cynics  Fair observations all round, though. To be honest, I'd be more concerned with the nonsense that gets spouted in the final article than someone stealing it. They don't publish your address although it doesn't take many steps to finding it if your correct na...

Re: Latest Modern Acquisitions

Ever since seeing Stratpack's run of large photo EU release POTF cards I've been looking to complete a run myself. It's taken over 14 months to find the 9 cards but I've eventually got there. The Rebel Commando could do with upgrading as has a little wear on the card and slight dent on bubble, but ...

Re: Hungarian bootleg Yoda

I don't think I rate bootlegs for a number of reasons but mainly because they don't mean anything to me from a nostalgia perspective. And I don't think I will ever comprehend the prices they achieve.

Re: Latest Acquisitions

Great run on the comics Simon, love seeing stuff like this come to light, items you never knew existed that are...'beyond the toys'! Cheers mate (and for reminding me to post elsewhere ;) ) . BTT stuff is certainly a major fun area of collecting. BITD the toys cost too much for my Dad to put up wit...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

I had no idea 99p Wookiee packs evennhad baggies in them! I always thought they were pulled off the cards. Super looking set :) And Yodas galore! Now let's see some Palitoy ones too, please. A 30 back and a 45a will do :D Lot of purchases recently, but my bestest and the one I'm so pleased with is u...

Re: A new New Hope!

Welcome to SWFUK. Glad you've still got your old figures you lucky, lucky man! As Mark said, keep hold of your old figures no matter how battered they are. There's 10s of millions like them out there but those ones are yours and totally irreplaceable. Also as mentioned, savour the hunt! Whilst it's ...

Re: MISB Bi Logo INT-4 post purchase question

Sounds legit. Had some with grainy print before and the rattling on the INT-4 is likely to TVR the nose cannon which isn't attached when in the box. Not all tape has dried out on boxes, particularly later stuff like this. Post of some pics and we can have a look for you.

I've ignored this thread for months thinking "I don't use photobucket so doesn't interest me".

What a dickhead.

Re: Charity shop find this morning :)

Nice one, Andy! What a great follow up.....but did you root through the Lego?! These are tooooo nice to be weaponless! Surely, in that box of bricks there has to be the armoury. If the Lego is from the same era as the figures you won't go far wrong buying it anyway, particularly if is space themed L...
