Re: Who's Who - Introduce yourself!

Ey up all, I have been a lurker on the forum for the last couple of years now, gradually building up a focused collection on Evilbay and the FB groups. Have used the SWFUK for a lot of cross referencing, and hoping to gte more involved in the ongoing discussions to further my knowledge of the hobby...

Do love R5 but you can't beat a squishy helmet. Ask Stu.

The DSD is class, but the Luke Hoth figure is a cut above. Awesome sculpt and particular childhood memories. Anyway, can't vote for a figure than needs a hip replacement if you even look at it.

Agreed. Loved the Hoth scenes but this figure forever belongs at the bottom of a toy box!

Iggy - 2 guns, cool robot! Rebel Commando - nice backpack! Luke poncho - soft goods poncho, although the shit hat was almost a deal breaker!! Right figures in the right order. Only chose Luke Poncho as all the rest were just too dull. Stupid hat design, the fact he can’t hold his blaster and didn’t...

ERG first choice - was nearly my focus figure
Hammerhead - loved those aliens as a kid
DSC - not sure why but always loved him

Can’t believe you managed to copy me even though you went first.

Re: Forum Figure of the Year 2019 - 1st Round - Group B

This is a horrendous round. So many of these mean so much to me: Chewie was my first figure. PD I could never find new as a kid, FX-7 my brother’s figure coveted by me, Barada was the first of the Last 17 I ever found in a childhood collection in the 90s, 4-LOM’s harness is the last of of my childho...

Greedo and Tusken, but I’ve gone with Squid Head as it is really one of my favourites.

Going with playability here: a saber could be hidden and then revealed I have a saber that can do that to Think that was actually moulded and modelled on your sabre. Small, green with a bulbous tip and not remotely suitable for its intended purpose. Could you not have written “CHOOSE THREE” in bigg...

Re: Farthest From, Vintage Star Wars Collector Toy Show, December 2018, Fordingbridge, Hampshire.

Back from the second trip to FF, I can say I enjoyed the x-mas show that much (went there early this year in April, which was a lot of fun as well). This time, I took a flight, which was a bit more comfortable and not that time wasting than doing the complete trip by car from near Cologne to Fordin...

Well done Edd, was waiting to see what it was you were after. As for me, fessing up time. This was a massive indulgence and mid-life crisis purchase. Hit 40 this year, and been doing lots of box ticking/bucket list type stuff. I saw this weeks ago, but from the 2 big auctions they have sold at befo...

Re: ROTJ Lando Skiff/ESB Tie Fighter Pilot Toy Toni

I paid £45 for a bit of a creased TT Bossk a couple of years back. I’d say he’s get around £100 now. R2 GM45 I bought from a fellow forumite for around £90 IIRC, about 12-18 months ago. I do collect TTs when the price is right so will be interested to see your FS thread when it goes up. I’m in the “...
