Re: NEW PRIZES!! Make A Star Wars Wish EPIC 2017 Prize Draw

Jez, don't lose heart, mate. It's a huge target and you know it'll come good. With the likes of Jabba's Court doing blinding work and our very own messed up Romba, Stu Skinner, organising and compering that superb fund raising event last you, you just can't fail! I myself only dropped a few quid don...

Re: Vintage Star Wars Droids Vlix Figure in 12in 300pcs Limited Edition Worldwide

Can we pleeeeeease get an admin in here to shut down and delete this thread altogether? Our foreign friend is very thick skinned as is not going away. This bootleg is moronic. It's an ugly arse figure I couldn't give a shit about, it unlicenced and the profits will no doubt go back into making bette...

Re: Sears Mos Eisley Playset w/ Blue Snaggletooth MIB

Yeah, I too would have thought the one posted here to be in the £1200 range. £1000 for a sealed Snag is bonkers. But then what's new? Given the state of the box I still would expect it to sell for less than £1600. I'm afraid that using the price sold of a listing that has then reappeared is fairly ...

Re: Tri logo Tusken and R2

I just don't see a reseal of this figure being half the value of a sealed one. I'm selling a sealed one to a Forum member for £140. As nice a reseal as it is, it's a reseal. But hey, if someone wants to pay £60 - £70 then let them. This market never ceases to amaze me.

Re: Tri logo Tusken and R2

Mike, I'd say you're looking at around £110 for R2 (looks like a little bit if general wear to the card, too) and Maybe £35-£40 for the Tusken. Logic on the Tusken being in nice condition he's now, what? £20-£25 loose? The cardback and bubble must be £15-£20 alone.

Re: Latest Acquisitions

Awesome Dengar, Andy :) A pleasure to even see one. Got to say, ink touch ups don't bother me much at all. I'd take an ink touch up over a creased bubble any day.

Of course, I may be slight biased given that in the early 2000s I may have been responsible for one or two :/ It was a different time!

Re: Latest Acquisitions

Reseal or not, Mark, that's a fine looking instant MOC collection right there. Dav, that TV Times is awesome. That makes me more nostalgic than anything I've seen for quite sometime. Love the "Channel 4 is coming too"! I take it that was advertising a screening of ANH rather than ESB despi...

Re: Price sticker residue

I've used both lighter fluid and GooGone with success. Even on a damaged "New Figure £1.59" sticker and that's stuck with epoxy. As mentioned, if the residue is a hard crust you'll do well to shift it without damage. Hooch, I'm not a fan of removing undamaged procure stickers due to the hi...

Another great instalment, guys. Loved all the interviews and as has been said, great to hear a non-bloke in a full interview! Looking forward to #34.

It don't forget the Imp Gunner and Imp Dig feature on the side of the A-Wing box, too :)

Re: Latest Acquisitions

Thanks chaps, very pleased with the Carrie items. Can't believe that's PBP trooper for £4! Wow. And that R2 for 70 is incredible, Grant. Jeff, love the vehicles and CS Dewback. Still never owned one and would love to find a loose one cheap enough. Such a cool item I never ever saw as a kid. I'm lovi...

Great to see some of these out the box, Ricky. Always see he boxes listed but never seen what you get. These are very cool indeed. Love that AT-AT box. And great pick up on the punch out book! Can't be many of those buggers about.

Re: Latest Acquisitions

Great scores all round. Not sure what the pick of the bunch is as they are all cool in their own way. Love the wallpaper brochure! Here's something a bit unique. I was watching an auction for something else and this popped up. Without time to do any more than read the description I had a punt on it ...

Re: FT article on SW toys

If this link doesn't work: https://www.ft.com/content/a44ba202-f9bb-11e6-bd4e-68d53499ed71 Then here's text of the article, but I suggest a mod deletes it after 12 hours or so as it's copyright. Hey, FT, this is free advertising to calm down ;) “There’s little point collecting Star Wars toys if you...
