Re: When was the last time you saw a carded figure out in the wild?

1988 in Blackpool. I bought three from a guy selling them from a pop-up pasting table on the promenade. Han Carbonite Luke Poncho R2D2 Sensorscope I think was the other one. That's really interesting. '94-'98 I was at University in Liverpool. It was the last time I really collected with a passion. ...

Re: Fun poll time!

Can’t believe I missed this poll. Tomli6 and I are pretty much pen pals over his scamming, the illiterate fuck. I’d have said wait and then neg him, obviously. Love the fact he’s that desperate for cash. Probably needs it to pay for his latest batch of repro weapons. The three who voted to give him ...

I 'believe so' as the annoying 'scam artist' and even worse, 'incorrect user' of 'apostrophes' would write. What an utter 'twat'.

Re: Ewok tri-logo tape on bubble?!

No tape was ever used to secure weapons inside the bubbles on Trilogos. Never happened, not even once :) Knew you couldn't stay away  Thanks for the input, Joe. And just in case you thought I was losing grip on Trilogo reality talking about taped weapons of IG, CC and Luke Jedi I meant on any ...

Re: THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 44 LAUNCHED

I was aware of the movie scenes jigsaws from Waddingtons but I have never seen the ones you have posted. I may have to look out for those. They're wonderful things but increasingly expensive. I just sold the pair I had. They were in Homebase picture frames and look cool but I don't have the wall sp...

Re: Ewok tri-logo tape on bubble?!

Really interesting thread, guys. I have certainly never seen a taped weapon in a Tri-logo, sealed bubble. I have only been collecting them a few years but it's a well known feature that the weapons aren't taped, as folks have already mentioned. Oracle, welcome to the forum, mate. You've got some lov...

Re: Solo: A Star Wars Story Trailer... TONIGHT!!!!

I was absolutely not looking forward to this movie. I had a downer on it from around Summer last year. TLJ reinforced that negative feeling. A lot. Bit his looks brilliant. I'm excited again which is a feeling I've not had about a SW movie since R1. And those posters are brilliant in their simplicity.

Re: star wars tri - logo amanaman. Spanish pbp moc.. afa 80!

so he will of paid £87 ish on this plus paypal. They capped the fee's at £250 so anything over £2500 you still pay £250. What annoys me most about ebay is them charging fee's on postage under the guise that you offer the buyer free postage, but then also saying that you aren't allowed to add the fe...

Re: Send away offer paperwork Palitoy/Kenner Parker 1984/85

Blinding post and awesome bits of documentation you have there. I do like these Palitoy offer posts and this has given another insight I wasn't aware of. I didn't even know you could get half of those items via mailaway promotion. The largest mailer box I've seen is for the Bandolier. Would love to ...

Oh dear. Take £839, deduct 13.4% for fees and you're left with.....£726. I'm only sorry you didn't lose more on it :D Sadly, the only real winner here is eBay (including PayPal) who have made over £200 on this being flipped. You've sucked that money out of collector's pockets. If ever the similarit...
