Re: Palitoy MOC hybrid Greedo

The AFA one has ended already, so one must presume it has sold to an offer as the seller carefully adds their email address and asks to not receive offers through eBay... Still on my hit list to get as I only have two of the hybrids so far, but I'll politely turn down the £1k price Simon  Boo...

Re: Palitoy 20-backs with damaged bubbles

Oh bummer. Would have paid you a really good price for Anakin if the rest of the Toy & Hobby sticker has been in place :) He's around £80 in that condition (crease across the card). £90 on a good day, although he's by far the most common Trilogo L17. Romba is about £50-£55 at he is. Warok is mor...

Re: MINT GENERAL MILLS C3PO GERMAN CARD

I'd echo that it's got all the features of Toni's work and that price sounds about right at the moment, too. Yep, Palitoy Toni's (on the ROTJ 65 backs) do around £70 whilst the real deal is now over £100. This on a Palitoy 45b is easily £250. So this on a GM 45 back, if it was real, I would hazard a...

Re: Valuation request on Imperial Shuttle appreciated, please

It's a tough one, really. Given its issues, I'd say it's worth the sum of its parts, which is not an inconsiderable amount. Perhaps £150 in this condition? And, as I say, that's based on the parts. I should point out that I would be interested in buying it if it were to be offered around this price....

Re: Palitoy MOC hybrid Greedo

Carl, you should get a slap on the wrist for the auction link within 7 days of it ending.......but seeing as it would be doing the buyer a favour for someone to backdoor it I'd say you're performing a noble service. Absolutely ridiculous. Another example of someone (or two) not doing their homework ...

Re: Klaatu over-representation

Klaatu in his PJs .......but what about other shots? :D There's that shot that appears on the Luke Jedi card. In it's wider form, Klaatu is pulling some sinister shapes behind him. None of which explains why this exists.... https://i.ebayimg.com/thumbs/images/g/PzUAAOSw2n5ZiNlK/s-l225.jpg ..in an E...

Re: Klaatu over-representation

Interesting topic! Did Klaatu feature particularly heavily in the early publicity shots at all? I know he features in the heavily used image of Luke on the deck of the mainskiff, with Klaatu in his PJs running towards him with another skiff goon squaring up to Luke, but what about other shots? Is he...

Re: Palitoy Jedi Original Han Solo MOC

I have the following figures to trade (all Kenner): R2-D2 - 77 back Han Bespin - 77 back Darth Vader - 77 back Leia Boushh - 77 back 4-LOM - 77 back IG-88 - 77 back Spooky. Was just chatting with a mate today about this. I have a 45c, absolutely not TT, with a weapon error (Bespin blaster). It has ...

Don't fret, for some reason he declined my generous offer. Bet if you went in there with a crisp $10 note he'd snap your hand off.

Dengar's first appearance in Empire Strikes Back Monthly Mar/Apr 1981 https://s26.postimg.org/xug3h6gzt/ESBM_No144_Marapr_1981.jpg Nice find, Spoons :) I haven't started on the SW titled comics yet and I've not come across that ad in any earlier comic than May so far, so that would certainly appear...

Re: [Meccano] Repair old remote control R2D2

I'm counting three: purple (first photo), grey (second photo) and red (third photo). Plus the motor appears to be totally disconnected. The red one is highly likely to go to one side of the motor and there should be a black for the other. Beyond that...... :/ Without a wiring diagram (highly unlikel...

Re: A New Repro... THE COLLECTORS STRIKE BACK

Wow, I don't know what I'm more amazed at: a clear and concise answer from an eBay customer service rep or the fact that fakes are absolutely 100% allowed unless the copyright holder complains. A very disappointing stance from eBay and I am actually surprised it's that clear cut and condoned. No won...

Super Imperial Commander and super price.

What do you know about the 50c rebate sticker? Seems to suggest a retailer other than KayBee and yet the pile of KayBee stickers and the hole punch scream KB?

Reported.

Even through a "fuck you" to ebay in there and told them if they kept on allowing this unlicenced shit to sell I'd report THEM to Disney. Bet their scared now, yeah?
