Re: Marvel Comics

So, Leia. A little later than I'd planned but I've been quite busy.... Only 5 issues and I have the JTC variant for #1 which is a great rendition of the card. The comic starts at the end of ANH at the Yavin ceremony. I really don't like the artwork here. The faces look like melted wax sculpts. Leia...

Re: Displaying the Droid Factory

Ok, it is going to require a fair few more Jawas over time but this will do for now:

I'm so sorry Phil, I thought you were James Woolley!

No worries at all, it's my own fault I should have called myself something like Phil73

Re: Displaying the Droid Factory

I love the Jawa idea, I think I'll track some down.

I expanded my imperial attack base with lots of snowtroopers, Darth Vader, and Rebels attacking and it looks so much better for it. I'll do the same with the droid playset.

Thanks Steve, I'm off and away on a new vintage project!

Displaying the Droid Factory

Has anyone got any good ideas on displaying the droid factory? Better with all the droids disassembled or with droids built? I've not got a copy of the original instructions, and I was wondering are there default droids to build, or is it just use your imagination? The R2 D2 assembled is a must thou...

Re: Anyone reading the new canon novels?

Bloodline was a drag. I enjoyed Lost Stars but Dark Disciple by Christie Golden was really good. She has a new book out in July and I'll be getting that too. Aftermath IMO was crap, and I got half way through Catalyst and that was so boring. I learned a long time a go that a brand name does not mean...

Re: What Do You Resent Buying?

I'm putting a collection together of all the Lando figures across all ranges. If I go onto Ebay any day I will see a Vintage Lando General, but certain modern line Lando's only turn up now and again. The vintage one starts at £30 for an incomplete one, there can be a modern complete figure as a moc ...

Re: Marvel Comics

Good summary Richard. I just finished it myself and enjoyed it. I did not even notice Leia had changed out of her disguise costume, but like you I did think her thumping a guard seemed odd. The dialogue was bang on and I felt these where the same characters I was watching at the end of Ep IV. At fir...

Re: Marvel Comics

Now this is good timing, I've just ordered the first collection as a combined paperback, both the Skywalker Strikes and Vader books. I'll come back later in the week once I've read them.

Re: Hello All Avid UK Collector of 6" Black Series

Purchasing Black Series figures is a problem. TRU at Stockport is good for TFA and R1, and they had a few of the 40th figures too. However, as a Lando focus collector I'm keen to get the new Black series figure later this month. Amazon has not even listed it, the independent online shops are listing...

I'm looking for a Lando in Sandstorm outfit vintage collection, ideally complete loose but will consider a carded one. Thanks for reading.
