Re: Latest Acquisitions

Was recently back in Newcastle rummaging through some old boxes I have stored up there. I salvaged these two masks. I’ve had them since I was a kid but had never really paid them any attention due to focusing on the figures etc. I heard about similar masks on the TVR podcast. Surprised they have sur...

Re: THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 54 LAUNCHED

Wow, the Palitoy panel was amazing. Very interesting. Thanks for recording and broadcasting it. Can’t believe I missed another great event. I need to do more events in 2019. Imperial Dignitary discussion/ argument was very funny! I quite like him as a figure but the price tag and nose rub issue puts...

Re: THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 53 LAUNCHED

Was just in a charity shop and remembered the section from this months podcast. I didn’t know that the staff were fully clued up on collectables etc, that would explain why I NEVER find any vintage, no matter how many visits I make. I did wonder if by working in a charity shop you would get first da...

Yes, I wish they’d held off with Solo. I reckon it would have been better received had they waited until Christmas.

Re: How does collecting compare to a year ago?

Facebook is Facebook. It’s designed to bring people together yet all it ever does is cause trouble. Whether it be collecting or personal relationships. I’ve turned all of the notifications off and still follow a few groups but not too many that it becomes overwhelming. I use it, it doesn’t use me. I...

Re: What baffled you most about the toys as a kid?

Why was there a blue button on the X-Wing which did nothing when you pressed it?! Also why did I put the battle damage stickers on it! Plus why was it battle damaged?!! The black visor on Luke X Wing baffled me. I thought it was hair until about a year ago.
