Re: Someone got bloody lucky

Part of me thinks great for the buyer but part of me thinks 'poor seller'. That's the game I suppose. What a score! Hope it was a genuine collector who bought them and not a flipper. Still bargains out there!

She mocked you yet she is the one selling cheap knock off goods on eBay, Del Boy style. Truly horrendous, what a sh1t bag.

Re: Excuses you give yourself to buy MOOAARR!!!

I repeat: "Well I just spent x amount on the mortgage/ gas bill/ council tax/ phone bill- why shouldn't I buy something for me. I mean, that's what I work for. What's the point if you can't treat yourself once in a while." Or I say, "I'll buy this and won't buy anything til after East...

Re: THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 39 LAUNCHED

Great episode this month, lasted me an entire weeks commute. Sad to hear Grant is moving on but as we know he can always come back. Have learned a lot from his insights over the time I've been listening, always enjoyed his enthusiasm and passion for all things Star Wars. Great news that Peter is com...

Re: Ever Regret Showing Your Collection on SWFUK?

I think putting loads of pictures of your collection on the forum is one thing. It feels like a kind of closed community, but I do wonder about the people who post valuables all over Facebook and then when on holiday put updates from the airport, hotel, etc. Would that effect your insurance if you ...

Wow that's amazing. How bored do the people on the production line look? Little did they know how in demand that stuff would be. They had no idea. R2 is still going strong 40 years later mate! Very interesting.

Always loved Rancor monster. Great sculpting, very cool. Love all things Jabba related. Liked the Ewok village too.

Re: Farthest From XV Sunday August 5th & 6th

This was my third Farthest From and the best yet. They get better as you get to know more people and realise what a nice bunch of people they are. Would definitely recommend going to anyone who is thinking about it. Picked up a few MOCs at pretty decent prices, got some swag, had a laugh and saw som...

Re: At what age does it drop off?

I feel there is cause for optimism. Star Wars is a bonafide phenomenon and I think there are strong and valid reasons to believe it will endure way beyond other examples. Britons toy soldiers were mentioned, and that is like comparing a puddle to the Pacific. The highest grossing movies of all time...
