Re: Which Imperial Blaster is this ?

He has been selling these V2s for years in dribs and drabs. Available one month, not the next. He has dropped the price on these ones in the last month or so. There was a thread about these a year or so back and the general consensus was they are not repro, and they do look right to me I have to say...

Re: New retroline.......

Is it just me or is the colour on grand moff tarkin's uniform wrong ? :? Yes, it’s too light. Should be a darker grey slate colour. Another example of poor attention to detail. The figure doesn’t look “retro” or vintage looking at all. I thought that too. The colour scheme looks similar to other vi...

Re: New retroline.......

The dog eared look and the big red retro stickers haven’t gone down too well, but Inadvertently or not, hasbro has made it more difficult for some nobhead to scan the artwork and use them for repro vintage cards.

Re: New retroline.......

I don’t see it affecting vintage much at all myself, but I guess time will tell. Whatever happens, I think a lot of us have been feeling a bit meh about collecting in the last year or so, so I’m hopeful this line could shake things up a bit. I’d be perfectly happy for loose prices to tumble, I just ...

Re: New retroline.......

I’m certainly intending to aggressively rip mine open and chuck the packaging away in a homage to me on Christmas Day ‘83  Awesome.. do it!!! How old are you? 83’ was one of my big SW Christmases too. I want some now just to rip them open  In fact if they bring out ROTJ ones, I will do it...

Re: New retroline.......

... Did cross my mind that they’re not showing the cardback as it might reveal which figures they’re planning to release.

I’m secretly hoping they will make the next new figure available as a mailaway if you cut out and send off the the POPs ... for an authentic vintage experience

Re: New retroline.......

You lot are a tough crowd  I honestly don’t mind the packaging that much. It’s a bit of fun, and if they didn’t do it we would be moaning about them being too similar to the original designs for sure. I think these are reasonably priced (about the same price as a packet of fags these days, and ...

Re: New retroline.......

I really enjoy retroblasters, he’s a funny and thoughtful guy, but I can’t help but feel he is a tad premature in getting on high horse over this. The tarkin / Death Star game looks like its going to cost about 16 quid (a Hasbro cash grab), yet he’s fine with unofficial sand /rebel troopers being pe...

Re: New retroline.......

:P these new figures are going to cause debate about how they should or should not look like. I see people are already divided about the Tarkin sculpt, Is debating a hobby meant to be fun? I think if any collectors are seriously divided by it then they need to have a lie down. I don’t think Tarkin l...

Re: New retroline.......

I do hope that they will build in tiny paint and packaging irregularities to keep the varient collectors happy, and that the bubbles slowly turn yellow and then fall off!   Hasbro bubbles have a tendency to do that 8) Based on the glue they use the bubbles will fall off by t...
