Re: Life Size Solo in Carbonite Valuation

Just wanted to say that is a great piece of craftmanship.
I think we should be asking you, as the craftsman, how much you want for it. Labour plus parts, plus
that bit extra.

Re: Princess Leia white cape price is going up ?

At the NEC toy fair Birmingham at the start of this year a seller had one for sale, minus weapon, for £30. This was at a time when I was unclear about the differences between repro and original capes, so I didn't buy it. I lost my original cape so had nothing to compare with. At the same fair there ...

Re: Princess Leia white cape price is going up ?

I've bought two without weapons in recent months.
Price did go up sharply after Carrie passed away and has hovered around £90-100 complete.
I've got 4 now - one my childhood toy - I never knew there was so many variations with the face.

Re: Picked up a Rogue One display today

That poster style one is really nice. They have a huge K2 at sainsburys with the countdown to release on it and a standee of a stormtrooper. I'd really like one but dont know where it would go... I had a Kill Bill standee of Uma Thurman when I lived in Japan. It stayed in the box and I ended giving ...

Re: Are you too Cool for your Collection?

I've got one good friend who collects vintage and one who collects modern Kotobukiya stuff.
Some of my friends know, but only a few to the extent of which I collect.
Workmates know I like Star Wars but don't know I am actively collecting.
They don't need to know...its what forums like these are for.

Re: Vintage Star Wars v G1 Transformers

Action Man is the same for repro parts, especially hands.
It seems to be controlled and made by actual collectors and enthusiasts for other collectors.
I believe these Action Man parts are made for the good of the hobby and not for deceit or commercial gain.

Re: Luke joining the darkside..!!

Hope not.
If he has turned then who is a suitable foe? Rey? Who's just discovered her powers.
I'd prefer if he was more of a Kenobi type figure. Yes, predictable but would work.
I'm sure there's plenty of surprises in store but, in all honesty, have Luke become the bad guy would be a disappointment.

Yeah, £25.99 I paid from Forbidden Planet.
This is the only one I wanted at that price point.
