Re: What do you regret the most from your time in the hobby?

Ouch! I regret selling most of my vintage stuff in 2013 (shortly before prices gone nuts). Sold 12backs for less than 100 quids. Some really nice stuff. I rebuild my collection but some of the items are still missing. Needless to say I paid way mor to get it back. Lesson learned - nowaday I think tw...

Amazing ... just ... amazing. Even your old one was a beauty.
Completely missed Vectis this time. Think I did not pay enough attention on the newsletters. :(

Re: Farthest From XVI - 9th and 10th December 2017

Wow guys - thank you so much for your support on getting me to FF. @ Jason: thank for figuring out you route, but 3 hours (when everything works) in addition to flight time and getting from here to there might be a bit to much time at all. Spending this time I can also think of driving by car and t...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

Those alterante photo artworks on the SW Palitoy Boxes are absolutely fantastic. This one is also missing in my collection. The Palitoy Debut Cards are in wonderful condition. They look casefresh. Congrats James. The Tie Bomber ... no words for that  ... and the Threepio costume is priceless....

Re: To break or not to break?

Holy Cow, what a bargain for that card. Congrats! Don't worry about value and don't worry about the grade. It's a high collectible item anyway. I think, I would leave it as is. Personally I dont't like graded MOCs, but as soon as you don't want to sell it, there is no reason to get it out of the cas...

Re: Star Wars Tracker Advice

I just renewed my annual subscription a few days ago. Jared does a great job and the tracker is getting better and better. Like Steve said, it's "worth every penny" (.. and it is just pennies, compared to the funds we are pumping in our collections). Everybody should give it at least a try...

Re: Farthest From XVI - 9th and 10th December 2017

Depends on what days you fly in on. I could possibly offer you a lift. What a great offer, but I did not want to make any efforts on somebody else. It would be unpleasant fo me if anybody has to plan his time on my schedule. Whe did you plan to drive to Fordingbridge? I will try to arrive on Saturd...

Re: Farthest From XVI - 9th and 10th December 2017

Where abouts in Deutschland are you? Can you get to Gatwick? I live in a small village between Cologne and Düsseldorf - so I have two airports to fly from. But I think, flights to Gatewick might be more expensive, but I have to check it out. You think it might be easier from there to get to Fording...

Re: Farthest From XVI - 9th and 10th December 2017

This time I would like to join the community. As I'm located in Germany, I don't really know how to get from Heathrow to Fordingbridge. What would you guys recommend - by bus or by train? Also any recommendation for a room there? Any help or advices would be appreciated.

Looks fantastic. £25 is a great price - even for the cardback itself.
