Re: Wow stunning example but what a price

Looks like the result of a race to be the owner of "the best example known to exist". Yes on paper it looks like 2 people were prepared to bid twice as much as the others. Though of course you can not be certain. I’ve often put a high last bid in that hasn’t registered because it wasn’t h...

Thanks to the kindness of Lars, I now have some instructions to go with my Tri-Pod Laser Cannon. Many thanks for selling them to me, Lars. I really appreciate it :-D

Re: Rate TLJ out of ten

I'm confident Disney will honour their commitment to David and Dan's new trilogy, but I would be amazed if Rian Johnson's one still went ahead, at the very least theatrically. With their new TV channel, and the production of brand new Star Wars content like 'The Mandalorian' being made to fill it, i...

Re: Wow stunning example but what a price

It's certainly a brilliant example, but I believe a few years back a sealed case of 4 Death Stars turned up and was opened, so I'm guessing those 4 case-fresh examples might be even better than this superb one.

Yep, a near perfect example, but £5,500... Ouch!

Another Fett missing his right hand! Are they particularly prone to coming loose or is this just an amazing coincidence?!

Regardless, thanks for sharing :-)

Thanks for the comments everyone, and thanks again for the advice you all gave. I really appreciate it. It just goes to confirm once again what a wonderful Forum this is, full of wonderful people... It's just a shame I'm here too to lower the average!

Great collection, apack. Two MOCs for $11 each? Were they for sale in a time warp?! What a great pick up :D

I should have guessed you'd have at least one 12" Fett, apack!

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 12, 2019, Part 1/2

First 12inch figure I ever got, purchased 22 years ago from a local Table Top sale for £1.00 No weapons or accessories but big thrill at 10 years old :). A few months later decided to part exchange for an AT-AT Walker but the Hasbro one was hard to find in the UK at that time (1998). The only shop ...

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 12, 2019, Part 1/2

Here are two I owned a long time ago now. The ESB was an eBay but for £35 that I sold for £70 a year or so later. The loose one went in 2011 with the rest of my 12” Definitely want a loose one again, and I’ve never owned Wookiee braids Great stuff Andy, although I'm sorry to hear you no longer own ...

Re: Urgent advice needed please!

It's good news. I have agreed and now received a partial refund of £45 from the seller, meaning the Speeder Bike has now cost me £70, which for one in this condition I am happy to pay, as it genuinely is a great piece, it just wasn't as advertised. The seller couldn't have been better about the situ...

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 12, 2019, Part 1/2

Can no-one help with this one? Surely there must be a few Forum members who would be willing to share their large Mr Fetts with the rest of us? :-) I look forward to seeing them, as even though I have never collected the 12" line myself, I've always liked it and enjoyed looking at other people'...
