Re: And This Is Why I Hate Toxic "Fan" Boys and Their Bitching!

'The Fan base' is broadly happy with the output, the box office shows that. What the box office actually shows is that TLJ made $722 million less than TFA. And it would have been a hell of a lot less than that if people like me, (who went to see TLJ once, expecting to then make multiple repeat view...

Agreed, that's a terrific collection, Lars! Thanks for sharing, and thanks too for the side-by-side photo of the canes. I don't think I have the lighter one, so I'll have to keep an eye out for one :-)

Re: And This Is Why I Hate Toxic "Fan" Boys and Their Bitching!

I think you'll find Disney have hardly helped themselves in this regard. They had no overall plan for the episodic sequels right from the start, which is nothing short of astonishing given that they paid $4 billion for it! Why they didn't put a Kevin Feige type person in charge to oversee their new ...

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 24, 2018, Part 2/2

Essential child hood figure for setting up Luke Jedi v Vader battles. As far as the more boring figures go he’s one of the best sculpts in my opinion. Here’s my Kenner 77a and sun damaged Trilogo MOC. Nice pair! (Ooh, er, Missus, etc.). I really like the Kenner Emperor card for some reason, and it'...

Here are my two examples of the old evil one. As evil as they are impressive!  Thanks for sharing! :-) And here are my two. No carded one to show, but two distinct variants; the darker grey, wide hips, fine sculpt hands, soft sculpt body Palpy on the left, and the lighter grey, narro...

Re: Cardback lifting?

I'm really not very clear on what exactly you mean. Are you saying that the bottom of the bubble is lifting off the card (which is annoying, but sadly can happen), or are you saying that the card back itself is splitting into two layers? If the latter, that's not something I've ever experienced myse...

Re: such a waste....

£560.00. Anyone surprised? I thought it would have gone for more, possibly ended at the wrong time of day? Looks like even my guess was on the high side! I think any auction ending over a weekend (providing it's not at a ridiculous hour of day) should ensure the maximum chance of interested parties...

100% fake. Quite apart from all of its other problems, it has the Euro punch, which no original card came with.

Re: Hayden C

I don't think Hayden's acting is bad at all in the prequels, even though it looks it at times! Natalie Portman, Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen all gave George Lucas the performances HE wanted, and what George wanted comes across to most people as rather stilted and wooden. We know both Natalie...
