Re: Well I'm Convinced

The good news is that the listing states: "Original owner claims that it was not touched up or modified in anyway. To the best of my knowledge, this claim seems valid." And it's only $199. Bargain! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-Star-Wars-Han-Solo-Hoth-DARK-BROWN-BOOTS-PBP-POCH-MINTY/...

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 2, 2019, Part 2/2

Another of my kin since sold 12” collection and one I wish I could find again. Pretty much unused with his medal still taped to his neck.E26AC30D-0A0C-4491-8C9E-FCBD29BA8EEA.jpegDA792061-D515-4629-9E8D-991B67420610.jpegAAD9FF5A-59FC-4FCD-8C28-64F91C5629BE.jpeg That was a lovely example, Andy. Interestingly she's a short-pour on her right foot.

A beautiful MOC!

Re: Forum Figure of the Year 2019 - Round 2 - Match 2

I normally like Lukes, but I've always hated the stupid walking pose on Luke Hoth, plus he comes with the wrong gun and no lightsaber! It's got to be the Death Star Droid for me.

Genuinely tough call for me as I love both figures. On balance though, this time my vote goes to the princess.

It's not mint and I display him with a regular pop up lightsaber as the one he came with was a little chewed and missing part of the handle. Still, for £50 he'll do!

Fantastic stuff Ian, with both the loose R2 and your beautiful MOC!

Re: Price sticker dilemma

I've always hated price stickers with a passion. I love the toys and the toys' packaging, and I can see more of that beautiful vintage packaging if there's no ugly price sticker polluting the purity of how it left the factory. If Kenner and Palitoy didn't feel the need to slap a sticker on it, then ...

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 2, 2019, Part 1/2

As a child, I always liked Greedo, even if I was a bit puzzled as to why both he and Luke X-Wing's thumbs were joined to the fingers on their gun hands, making inserting and removing their blasters a bit tricky. Despite that, I still remember the sheer thrill of the second wave of Star Wars figures ...

Re: Forum Figure of the Year 2019 - Round 1 - Group O

Much as I would love to see the purple suppository progress, the competition in this group was just too fierce. For me, it's got to be the Jawa, TIE and EV-9D9 (because who doesn't love a bit of droid torture? ;-))
