Re: VALUATION REQUEST BOBA FETT + COIN

Soooo whats that mean? I also have an R2 unit, both 2 are near mint condition, I think I know this one worth round 800-1000 pounds, am I right? https://imgur.com/mQJ2zEu https://imgur.com/psVgmmJ It means it's a fake cardback and not an original. The same is also true of the R2 D2 (although someone...

Re: Peroxide treatment tip for stickers

It certainly looks clean, so well done on a good restoration without using peroxide.

Re: Is it fake ?

It's hard to say, but my best guess / opinion is that it's probably real and not fake. Whether it's a legit variation or just due to discolouration of either the paint or plastic beneath the paint, is difficult to say. However, if there was a running change in the colour of paint used for the arms,...

Re: The Usual 'How Not To Post A Carded Figure' Moan

One last point about the initial questions you ask about the packaging before bidding; never assume anything! Just because the postage charge is high, low or middling means absolutely nothing! Unless the auction very clearly states how the item will be packaged for posting (and quite frankly, why w...

Re: To break or not to break?

I dislike AFA cases full stop as you can't handle the card if needed, cannot support the bubble if you ever need to post or transport it, and cannot easily change cases if it gets scratched or damaged, plus I object to paying someone else to tell me their highly subjective and certainly no more expe...

Re: The Usual 'How Not To Post A Carded Figure' Moan

Oh, and I should have added, when asking your packaging questions before the auction ends, and especially if you have reason to message the seller again after it ends if you are unhappy with something (crap packaging, item having damage not visible in the photos or otherwise not as described, etc.),...

Re: The Usual 'How Not To Post A Carded Figure' Moan

Well, it certainly looks like the damage occurred in transit to me. What an assholic moron for sending it that way! I hate to say it, but with so many idiots selling quality stuff (and why is it that the very best pieces are so often sold by utter pea-brains that haven't got the first fecking...

Re: Would you have done what I did?

Yes agreed, you have done nothing wrong. If the idiot leaves you negative feedback simply show eBay the email thread where he is asking for a reduction in the postage charge after winning the auction. If they have any decency at all eBay will cancel the feedback.

Re: Near Perfect Repros

So not content with selling repro crap with a thinly disguised message that the weapons can be used to dupe people, they are also shill bidding to con those dubious customers that they do have? Wow, I didn't think this could stink any more than it already did! I haven't commented much before on the ...

Re: Klaatu over-representation

Klaatu in his PJs .......but what about other shots? :D There's that shot that appears on the Luke Jedi card. In it's wider form, Klaatu is pulling some sinister shapes behind him. None of which explains why this exists.... https://i.ebayimg.com/thumbs/images/g/PzUAAOSw2n5ZiNlK/s-l225.jpg ..in an E...
