That's spectacular! Although I prefer the designs we ended up with, I've always loved Ralph McQuarrie's concept art. This trailer really captures it perfectly.

I'm not sure enamel paint was the way to go though, bit shiny (for the modern line) and bobbly in places. Good head sculpt though.. is that from a modern line figure? The head of the character Melas is actually the back of the character Ketwol's head. Both were new aliens introduced to the Cantina ...

Being an old codger who was born in 1972, I'm lucky enough to remember buying the Palitoy figures and toys straight off the shelves from 1978 onwards. My most vivid childhood memories usually revolve around Star Wars (and usually the toys!), but one in particular was paying £9.99 for a Palitoy Death...
