Re: Wavy vinyl cape fix?

Took it out the oven 1 day early, if 7 days is gonna work then surely 6 will. Very slightest hint of where the kink/wave used to be but i'm not losing sleep over that, it's practically flat and looks amazing now. Thanks for the advice guys on this, it's worked a treat. :) DSCF8125.JPG That looks te...

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 3, 2018, Part 2/2

Sadly, I too never collected the 12 inch toys. However, there are some terrific sculpts in the range (the Han, Luke, Leia and Ben are simply outstanding likenesses), so hopefully some other members with a little more shelf space than me will be able and willing to share their Jawa images with the Fo...

'Lumpy black blob!' It's hard to disagree with that description, as it isn't exactly a brilliant sculpt. However, for me I think the blob still just edges it over the Box ;-)

Re: The vagaries of graded figs

Snake bite indeed , seems quite an apt name given your reply. Its akin to someone entering a room with an ak47 , clearing the room and then declaring peace. Wow, just wow. I will reply later when ive time but to say your reply was a woosh moment would be an underststement. Well, judging from your i...

Re: odd listing title

This is 100% fake. It has a Europunch for starters, it's clearly been inkjet printed and the bubble is held on with double-sided tape! What a lot of bullshit the conman selling this is spouting!... From the 1980's my ass! And he 'came across this figure inside my old bedroom at parents house'... Wel...

Re: The vagaries of graded figs

I dont get the consistent rants or slights or disdain for graded figures whenever grading is discussed. This is not unique to this thread specifically and ive read numerous views expressed on this site in other threads just bashing grading full stop. Its almost like if you dont a negative view for ...

Re: Your thoughts on George Lucas

The Last Jedi actually does use some of George Lucas' sequel trilogy ideas. Lucas' idea for the sequel was for an ageing Luke to reluctantly train a young girl to be a Jedi (named Kira not Rey). Luke had spent 30 years hidden away in solitude in his Jedi temple. Doug Chiang had created the concept ...

Re: Your thoughts on George Lucas

An incredibly gifted and imaginative man, who caught lightning in a bottle with the original Star Wars, thanks to his own gifts and those of a fantastically talented team of people around him, who largely remained with him for Empire, and it shows. He's a brilliant filmmaker, but by all accounts not...
