Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 29, 2018, Part 1/2

Thanks mate for the kind words as always :D Thanks about the instruction leaflet  I guess they are not easy to find for sale unless you buy a whole playset ? :? The box also have the POP :D I hate when the POP is missing. Did you know that the POP was missing when you bought the playset ? I o...

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 29, 2018, Part 1/2

Ok here are my Cantina Adventure Set, I bought it in 2011 from a guy in USA. He was selling his Star Wars collection and I was lucky to get this set and about 350 figures complete with weapons from him. That was still the good old days where figures complete with weapons still could be bought in lo...

Re: Han Bespin reseal?

I would say this was a re-seal. There are a few of us re-seal collectors on here so keep us in mind if he needs a good home. :D Ha will do Mark. Although I'd have no idea what reseals go for, what would a ballpark be on this do you reckon? Maybe i should put this in the valuation section but aren't...

Re: The day is coming....repro MOC

The real problem is with MOC values as high as they are, there is absolutely a financial motive for criminals to manufacture convincing fakes of rare cards. Litho printing is (so I'm told) quite expensive, but at some point it becomes economically worthwhile for a faker to invest in it if they can s...

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 29, 2018, Part 1/2

What can I say      But I agree after reading your post  there is no fucking adventure in this playset and the only gold in the playset is blue snaggletooth and for kids in the 70s, then I think not many kids thought about blue snaggletooth and wanted to play with him ...

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 28, 2018, Part 2/2

Sadfully my collection is in storage boxes right now, as I'm waiting to move into a new bureau/collection room at the moment. But, to be honest, there is nothing intersting I can add, compared to your pictures. Everything is interesting, it is not about having a lot or some rare items. It is about ...

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 29, 2018, Part 1/2

The 'Cantina Adventure Set'... Hmmm, talk about overselling your product with a misleading title! 'Adventure'?... It's a piece of folded cardboard! It would quite rightly be held in much lower regard by collectors than it is, but for the presence of a certain blue item... 'Adventure'?! A Jedi might ...

Re: Han Bespin reseal?

It's hard to be absolutely certain without having it in hand, but it certainly looks like a reseal to me. There are too many missing / misaligned litho spots beneath the blister for my liking, plus the card beneath the blister's edge looks decidedly tinted to me (and unevenly so, especially at the ...

Sounds great, thanks any picture of the coo ? :D Sorry, I'm not sure if you're joking (if so, apologies for me being thick!), but the last picture I posted on Page 2 of this thread shows the COO :) No problem my mistake  Can you take a new picture where I can see the © G.M.F.G.I. 1978 better :...

Thanks mate for the great pictures and all the great info as always. I have to get my snaggletooth figures out of the closet  You write Palitoy 20 back for the last snaggletooth. What are the story about that info ? :D Quite simply, I have very good reason to believe that that specific figure ...
