WTB Palitoy 'Turret & Probot Playset' MIB

Hi,

As the title says, I'm looking for a Palitoy 'Turret and Probot Playset' MIB. I'm after at least a C8 box or better, and I don't expect to get it for free ;-)

If you can help, please PM me.

Thanks.

Jeremy

Wow, that's a special one, Lars! Hopefully someone has one, but I believe I'm right in saying only Lili Ledy made a vintage 12" Tusken Raider, and these days they're pretty rare and expensive!

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 21, 2018, Part 1/2

Hi andy, yes the backdrop was part of the set :D as Snaketibe write in the next post there was 4 set, I would say one of them is fucking hard to find and that is the one I miss  Thanks Lars, I’ve been after the Hoth Rebels set for a long time but was unaware of any backdrops with the other set...

*WARNING. THE FLOWING STATEMENT CONTAINS THEMES OF A GRUMBLING NATURE THAT SOME READERS MAY FIND DISTURBING.* Rude and abrupt messages on eBay really piss me off  Since when were common manners deemed unnecessary? I woke up this morning to a message that simply read, "I'll pay £15 for th...

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 21, 2018, Part 1/2

Yes, each set came with a different backdrop. In the interests of clarity, I think it's worth pointing out for those who don't know or realise, that this set is actually part of the 'Special Action Figure Set' series that Kenner released, and which these days are quite sought-after and very pricey. ...

Re: Dreamer.

To be fair to the seller, if you look closely, I think you'll find there's not one, but TWO vinyl caped Jawas in the auction, which is pretty damn good. All they're missing are their capes and guns, so stop complaining about this bargain.

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 20, 2018, Part 2/2

Presumably these came in a white mailer box but I've never thought of looking for one. Think I will have to track one down now. I don't collect these myself, but a quick bit of Googling confirms you are correct. There's a picture of the mailer and even a link to a YouTube ad for the Build Your Armi...

I don't know what you're complaining about. Those brilliant Shadow customs are only £111. What a bargain! They're an exclusive, one-of-a-kind set and would be cheap at twice the price...

What? What's that, nurse? It's time for my medication, you say?

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 20, 2018, Part 1/2

In the teeth/ no teeth variants the whites of the eyes are also painted / unpainted. It seems that the 'no teeth' variant is actually "no white paint". Are there any examples where the eyes are white but the teeth are unpainted or vice versa? Possibly, but I've never seen one. To be fair,...

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 20, 2018, Part 1/2

Awesome info Jeremy. Thanks for sharing, especially the closeup buckle detailing. I just collect the major Kenner variants at the moment so don’t have all the thin and fat heads, fastened, unfastened and no buckle trousers round the ankles variants  though I do also have a PBP variant (on the ...

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 20, 2018, Part 1/2

Some collectors don't care about variants. Fair enough, I say. Of those that do care, a lot of people seem to think there are only two variants of Lando; with teeth and without teeth. However, there are variations in his head and body sculpts, in addition to the more obvious paint differences. The h...
