Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 42, 2018, Part 1/2

Here are mine, again sorry about that some of them is old pictures with kitchen background. I hope to find some time to replace them with purple background. I have 2 bi-logo boxes and the instructions is different on them, see the pictures and then I have a kenner. Thanks for the kind words about my...

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 42, 2018, Part 1/2

Another mint example Jeremy. Very nice indeed. I agree with you on the battle damage stickers, best left off. Thanks Nick :-) It's a shame Kenner didn't come up with some sort of static cling stickers for the battle damage. That would have made them both removable and increased the play value as ki...

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 42, 2018, Part 1/2

Good choice, Lars! The '"Battle-Damaged" Imperial Tie Fighter Vehicle'... another jaw-breaker from the same book of Kenner toy names as 'Darth Vader's Star Destroyer Action Playset'! Fortunately however, unlike the Star Destroyer (which is a fun playset), this actually looks pretty much li...

Re: I didnt know this...

The Han Hoth holster is a good feature but DON’T USE IT! The plastic is a lot more brittle these days than in the 1980s, and a few of my holsters split from having the gun stored there. I display with gun in hand now Thanks for the warning. I've been aware of the holster's feature for some time, bu...

Re: I didnt know this...

That's a cool feature for Han Hoth, was that intentionally made or just a coincidence? I don't have a definitive answer (hopefully someone else here might though), however I can't see why the loop is present on his holster unless it was intended to be for holding his blaster. If it wasn't intention...

Shame you no longer have it, but well done for photographing it first. Thanks for sharing! :-)

Sorry Lars. As you know, I don't collect Ewoks figures, but hopefully someone reading this can come to the rescue and share a picture of His Majesty with the rest of us

Re: Star Wars to Action Force

Do you remember copying “pokes” from mags into spectrum game codes to get extra lives etc? What was the Spectrum mag called? I do! There were some brilliant POKES available for 'Jet Set Willy' on the Spectrum :-D My brother and I also once wasted an entire day painstakingly programming in the 'miss...

Perhaps Kenner did this deliberately, but my guess is that it's probably just coincidence, but still a fun one to know. It reminds me ...
