Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 24, 2018, Part 2/2

Here are my two examples of the old evil one. As evil as they are impressive!  Thanks for sharing! :-) And here are my two. No carded one to show, but two distinct variants; the darker grey, wide hips, fine sculpt hands, soft sculpt body Palpy on the left, and the lighter grey, narro...

Re: Cardback lifting?

I'm really not very clear on what exactly you mean. Are you saying that the bottom of the bubble is lifting off the card (which is annoying, but sadly can happen), or are you saying that the card back itself is splitting into two layers? If the latter, that's not something I've ever experienced myse...

I've never collected the Micro collection myself, but I have to say that those two examples above are just beautiful! Thanks for sharing pictures of them, Ian!

Re: such a waste....

£560.00. Anyone surprised? I thought it would have gone for more, possibly ended at the wrong time of day? Looks like even my guess was on the high side! I think any auction ending over a weekend (providing it's not at a ridiculous hour of day) should ensure the maximum chance of interested parties...

100% fake. Quite apart from all of its other problems, it has the Euro punch, which no original card came with.

Re: Hayden C

I don't think Hayden's acting is bad at all in the prequels, even though it looks it at times! Natalie Portman, Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen all gave George Lucas the performances HE wanted, and what George wanted comes across to most people as rather stilted and wooden. We know both Natalie...

Re: George's vision for episodes 7-9

*Checks calendar to make sure it's not April 1st* ... Really, George?... REALLY? Jesus, can no-one out there come up with a new story that's even vaguely consistent with, and a logical and exciting continuation of, the original trilogy? I had been hoping George's unmade scripts would be better than ...

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 23, 2018, Part 2/2

Not too many female characters in vintage Star Wars so have always really liked the Droids Kea Moll. Great card art aswell, what is the headless alien all about ? 5F301801-0FC7-451A-B03F-E17A299DF122.jpeg thanks for sharing your Kea Moll collection, I really love that stand for the coin, it looks a...

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 23, 2018, Part 2/2

Sorry, I should of course have made it crystal clear that I am just having a laugh at the sculpt and in no way whatsoever am I trying to criticise either owners of this figure or those who like it. Kenner's quality control was often sorely lacking at times in the vintage line; look at Hammerhead, Gr...

Yes, nice to see some examples of this as I don't collect Droids figures. Having said that, I must say that figure's a seriously unflattering likeness of the character! Kenner have made the poor girl look more like Porkins! Now I was going to mention this, but thought better of it, but as it’...

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/vintage-star-wars-imperial-stormtrooper-with-original-black-blaster/273281017648  I'm guessing most the value there is in the solid black 'Luke Stormtrooper' blaster, iv'e seen that sell on it's own for over £100. Except that the seller says the figure comes with a...
