Re: Can anyone help me identify this part?

I'm pretty certain it's not from anything vintage Star Wars. I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong, but I don't think I am.

Hope that helps.

Re: Vintage Card Backs values?

They're your cards, so at the end of the day it's your decision of course. However, unless you also have the original bubbles to stick back onto the cards to make bona fide reseals, I think most collectors would prefer that you didn't stick new bubbles or newly printed parts to cover up picture rips...

Re: PBP Short Shot Blaster?!

Once again it's a case of each to their own / there's no accounting for taste! I have now learned that short shot blasters are a real thing and are collected by some people. Good luck to those people of course, but short shots are certainly not for me. All I see is a deformed, sub-standard blaster, ...

Re: PBP Short Shot Blaster?!

I've just spotted this auction for a lovely condition unpainted knee, unpainted dart PBP Boba Fett: My eye was caught by the eye-watering BIN price of £500 (although to be fair, there is also a 'Make Offer' option). However, the seller may be trying to justify the outrageous price by the inclusion ...

Re: Next Vectis Auction?

Anybody know when the next Vectis auction with vintage will be? Nothing since July and no forthcoming lots on their site. Has their seemingly endless pool dried up? Hi Edd, have you ever tried the-saleroom.com - they've got a fairly big auction coming up on Thursday with some Boba Fett ROTJ MOCs, a...

Re: What toy did you convert to?

Tri-logo and PBP Boba Fetts. I used to hate them as they were the 'wrong' colour (I was younger then) :-). I've seen the error of my ways now though!

Re: Value on this?

It wasn't in the wrong forum though. I had already moved it to the modern collecting forum! Just goes to show that even if we mods actually do something, it still goes unnoticed. Very diplomatically put, but also quite correct. I allowed my irritation at finding a non-vintage request in the w...

Re: What Do You Resent Buying?

I don't regret buying a single thing tbh I only buy with purpose, I only ever buy either what means a lot to me nostalgically or what I love the look of. Every single piece in my collection both Star Wars and non-SW has a reason for being there, and if I buy something I thought i'd like then decide...

Re: Would this bother you?

I can see how that could be very annoying. If idiots are willing to throw good money away on repro rubbish, I suppose that's their lookout, but the whole repro market annoys the hell out of me these days, as it's just exploded. Repro weapons used to be the exception, but today they have become the n...

Re: Value on this?

Hello, welcome to the forum. What I believe snaketibe was trying to say is we encourage new members to explore the forum for themselves first before posting valuation requests. We get plenty of one post wonders on here who have been stung on eBay and are trying to offload goods unwittingly on forum...

Re: Value on this?

I don't mean to be rude, but where did you look? This forum is far more obscure than eBay, which is where I would have thought most people would check first for prices. There's some on there right now (I simply searched for '1995 Boba Fett signed'), so that will tell you how much people are trying t...

Re: Ever tried a spot of hand washing?

I know everyone's entitled to their opinion, but quite frankly if anyone objected to carefully cleaning dirt off a loose figure or its accessories, then as far as I'm concerned they can go forth and multiply themselves! It's perfectly fine and actually a good idea in most cases as not only does it i...
