Amsterdam Vintage Shop

Been to a cool vintage shop in Amsterdam today. 'A space oddity' is run by a really friendly guy. We talked about vintage - he's been in the game since early 90s. Told me he bought up a toy stores stock room of mocs in the early 90s, with the help of his dad's money. Reckons he had over 2500 mocs, m...

'Dubai Collection' - high end auction

Hi A lot of you have probably heard about this already - apologies in advance. This auction is happening next week and the owner is from Dubai! This link to the auction may illustrate how rare the red Bib is (ref. thread posted last week asking about it). It did make me think - is this one of the la...

Re: Full MOC run

All comes down to how much money you have or may have or potentialy want to spank on toys in the future? I run a pretty strict policy that if the mocs i have don't excite me or don't tug on my nolstagic strings then they are surplus to requirement. Hasn't let me down yet! Sell and reinvest is what ...

I interpret second paragraph differently. Like you say, forums create debate. If the 'new user' wants to get involved in a debate then they'll be able to clarify.

Re: Vintage Stormtrooper Figure

I think Bagy3 was simply asking whether there is more value/prestige in AFA over UK and whether 75% is a strong enough grade to invest? Rather this than a debate about grading?!

Re: When was the last time you saw a carded figure out in the wild?

Ha ha. No, they were a bit too beaten for me but probably a fair price. Bet the guy was glad it didn't rain! These two were at cheddar car boot today. About 60 quid each I think. Zoomed out photo gives perspective Well spotted, you must have keen eyes. I struggled to see them in the first picture. D...
