Re: Waffle pattern 100% guarantee

It’s always gamble when buying on line but if it’s been stated it’s 100% original and turns out it’s not you’ll always have eBay on your side so bid away I’d say .

Re: Latest Acquisitions

69p, even I had money for that in 87 and I was like 5  Really cool that you've found one that originated from your local childhood shop, how it circulated around for all those decades and somehow found it's way to you is amazing. 8) I got it off eBay and was only 20 odd miles away so still pre...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

Very happy to add this cardback to my collection it has my local childhood shop price sticker on it ... the shop (Kerrisons) is still there to this day :)

Also note that the date on the sticker has 1987 so this must of been a clearance figure .

Re: 79bks sold in Australia ?

I did the bulk of my MOC collecting in Australia in the 90s. Just checked and I have ten 79 backs (for comparison I have thirty 77 backs). So maybe that represents a higher proportion than usual? I've also heard that most of the 79s came from Australia. I'm not sure if that was on purpose, more lik...

Yeah there’s a han bespin on eBay Australia and it’s been graded 80 but the bubble also looks very yellow so doubt that would make it in transit .. not that I’m looking to buy it

Re: 79bks sold in Australia ?

Cheers for the link that was an interesting read , only one post said they got one from Australia so don’t think that’s enough proof to suggest they originate from down under but I’ll keep researching :)

I believe old yak face was only available in Canada .. and I agree it’s very hard to find certain ones with a clear bubble . At-st driver seems to be quite common to find with a clear bubble
