Re: THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 52 LAUNCHED

I had a great time chatting it up with Stu and Rich. I’m also stoked by the amazing rendition of me as Indiana Jones on th...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

Very nice set there Seahawks. Beautiful. Agree the artwork on those Dixie Cup boxes is awesome. They’ll look ace on display. Those boxes are well nice, the colours and style remind me of the vintage original SW arcade cabinet. Beautiful set Seahawks, lovely artwork and nice addition to your collect...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

These just arrived today. A compete set of the SW Series Dixie Cups boxes. I’ve been eyeballing these for a few years but never pulled the trigger. A buddy of mine decided to sell his set so I jumped at it. The artwork on these is so cool. 261E4CB2-291A-43B4-B8D9-B9C17E08D1A6.jpeg 29626D66-B306-4B45...

That glass is awesome. Never seen these before. Interesting they used slightly different artwork.

Re: THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 50 LAUNCHED

Just got a couple more ESB coloring books this week and 3 more Cloud Car images caught my attention. I think I’ve met my quota on this challenge for the month. :)

Re: Latest Acquisitions

Every time I jump on this thread, I’m amazed at how many incredible items there are. Keep ‘em coming fellas, I really enjoy it. This isn’t the most exciting share by any means, but I’ve been building my collection of unused Kenner coloring books. I recently completed the U.S. ESB and ROTJ run of boo...

Re: THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 50 LAUNCHED

Another outstanding episode fellas! How in the world you can make 7 hours seem to fly by is beyond me, especially when over an hour of that was talking about the lowly Cloud Car. :) Speaking of which, I took on Pete’s challenge of trying to find other Cloud Car references. I managed to find one in m...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

I find myself leaning more toward oddball items these days. My latest pickup is a comic from the Pendulum Press curriculum circa 1978. My wife is a teacher and I told her that one of these days I hope to get the entire curriculum. If I do, I will go in and volunteer teach the course for her class. S...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

An amazing bunch of new acquisitions guys! I have so much fun scrolling through this thread checking out everyone's pick ups! My latest acquisitions have been more along the lines of "oddball" or as some prefer, "beyond the toys". Starting off is 2 of the Kenner Canada Star Wars ...

Re: THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 48 LIVE

Yet another great show this month fellas. Welcome back Jez and congrats on an amazing feat for a great cause! Enjoyed the discussion on the skiff. I still have my original that my parents bought for me at Toys R Us back in 1985 or 1986. I was around 11 or 12, and was toward the end of my playing wit...

Re: So what did you think about Solo: A Star Wars Story ??? *NO* SPOILERS

Took my wife and kids to see Solo the other night and overall they liked it and were very entertained. My wife even enjoyed it and she is not a SciFi/Fantasy fan at all. We all agreed the actor who played Han did a good job and made the role his own enough that we weren’t always trying to compare hi...

Nice! Congratulations Richard. I think it’s time to take that loose collector label you’ve been wearing, wad it up and throw it in the trash. :)
