Re: THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 48 LIVE

Yet another great show this month fellas. Welcome back Jez and congrats on an amazing feat for a great cause! Enjoyed the discussion on the skiff. I still have my original that my parents bought for me at Toys R Us back in 1985 or 1986. I was around 11 or 12, and was toward the end of my playing wit...

Re: So what did you think about Solo: A Star Wars Story ??? *NO* SPOILERS

Took my wife and kids to see Solo the other night and overall they liked it and were very entertained. My wife even enjoyed it and she is not a SciFi/Fantasy fan at all. We all agreed the actor who played Han did a good job and made the role his own enough that we weren’t always trying to compare hi...

Nice! Congratulations Richard. I think it’s time to take that loose collector label you’ve been wearing, wad it up and throw it in the trash. :)

Re: Latest Acquisitions

Just received my first die cast Mocs! The x wing was from eBay via Iain and the tie was direct from Iain himself! Love them both and the acrylic cases make them look ace! Possibly the cheapest way to get a sealed 12 back with the tie and love the ESB card for the X Wing!! So much stuff crammed on t...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

[Great Fett my friend. Thanks for sharing. Great looking Fett Seahawks and congratulations on finishing your 21 run, a real achievement. The tape on a lot of the Boba Fetts seem to come loose for some reason, it's probably due to the fact that the figure moves about so much due to the rocket backpa...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

My "May the 4th" acquisition arrived today! After starting the journey almost 2 decades ago, my mostly "budget" first 20 is now complete at 21! I had honestly resigned myself to the fact that a 21 Back Fett wasn't going to happen in this lifetime! The card and bubble are in prett...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

Finally added this to my Play-Doh set collection. I hadn’t seen many come up for awhile, then this sealed one showed up on EBay. Threw out an offer and to my surprise it was excepted!

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 11, 2018, Part 2/2

I picked up a Sonic Landspeeder last year that I had to take apart completely to get it to work. I was able to get the motor running, but still having issues with it responding to the clicker. I believe it's the most finicky vintage Kenner SW toy ever made, but it's still awesome. Sonic1.jpg Sonic2....

Re: THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 44 LAUNCHED

Another outstanding podcast fellas! I still don't understand how 4-5 hours can fly by so fast. Really enjoyed the interview with Jon and his Palitoy focus. Just had a look as some of the photos you posted on Facebook of his collection. Most impressive indeed. That Luke Jedi with 2 blue sabers....dan...

Re: Latest Modern Acquisitions

Every time I see these hand held Star Wars games from the mid 90's, they really catch my eye. I'm not a big modern collector, but the artwork and packaging is really well done and they just look cool to me. This set came up so I threw out an offer to the guy and he accepted. Luckily, not all Star Wa...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

After a bit of a hiatus, I thought I’d share my set of Star Wars Play-Doh action sets. I had the SW and ESB versions as a kid, the SW version being one of the earliest SW toys I had. Never did have the ROTJ version, but recently found this one for a great price and the box is still sealed! Another s...
