Re: Anyone at a loose end in town on 20th September.

Glad to hear everyone that went had a great time. Free booze and an auction, now that’s one hell of a mix! I wanted to get up to town and see this all on display a few weeks before the auction but never made it. Shame really as there won’t be the chance to see those items together again. Looking at ...

Card back rarity.

A post by Spoons in “toy of the week” got me thinking.
He has posted his Cloud Car Pilot MOC and mentions that it’s a 79 back and difficult to find.
Is there a matrix anywhere that lists figure and cardback combinations and their rarity?

Great collection

Looks like a squadron! 8)
Really like the PBP one, such a eye popping yellow.

Thanks for the kind comments on mine.

Re: Toy of the year ?

I agree, I think it's a terrific idea! I always enjoy the figure of the year poll, so this is like making it 3 times bigger and better :-D I seem to recall it also being mentioned at one point that having a cardback of the year poll might be interesting (I assume they meant favourite card front ima...

Re: is this a legit variant?

Is this a legit variant? Unless it's a vinyl cape Jawa, double telescoping Luke/Vader/Ben, small head Han, or blue Snaggletooth, then no ;) I think you can add at least Yoda orange/brown snake, Luke Blue/Green sabre, Ben White/grey hair to that list. Essentially if something changes for an aestheti...

Re: Toy of the year ?

I’ve always been a fan of a poll for card front as well as the figure of the year one, as I’m a MOC collector! I personally would vote if there was a poll for ships, play sets etc. but if there was too many polls in quick secession interest may possibly be a bit apophatic? Stuart’s poll for figure o...
