Re: Advice/Help please from members in the USA

Wow, looks like the global shipping is a right moneyspinner, puts you off bidding altogether, seller is not by his own admission savvy either so it looks like a right can of worms  The items are exactly what I'm looking for but think I may just wait and be patient until things come along that...

I had a look online and the general consensus was the v1 rifle, which my Kenner 4-LOM had. So got a spare one and swaped them over.

That’s great, really nice figure.
Congratulations

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 46, 2018, Part 1/2

OK, here are mine. I have no MOC to contribute, but I do have a pair of loosies. I like visually different figure variants, and these two are different, but you do need to look closely to see it! The blue stripe on the outside of the legs is darker on the one on the right, but also, the stickers ar...

Some lovely examples so far guys. :D My favourite too, how can anyone resist the little shiny tin can. I’m not a focus collector either, but do have a few examples of this likeable little fellow, in all his guises. More MOCs did someone say, hope you like these... 3C11C75D-8053-4562-ACD2-CAFA68DCE42...

went for a mix between tracker and ebay, and meant to say without acrylic

It’s always a mine field and so subjective when pricing stuff!

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 46, 2018, Part 1/2

My absolute favourite  I received a Trilogo cut card R2 for Xmas 85, I suspect in a stocking, and managed to find a replacement on eBay a year or two ago. You’ve hardly changed a bit... I see these cut cards around now and again, were they what kids did back then or some sort of fact...

Re: Moc valuation please

I don’t want to disagree but...I would place these a little higher.
Lando £55 difficult one due to the bubble crack, but a lovely card.
Madine £65
Nikto £50
These are priced without the acrylic.
Of course the price will depend where you sell them.
Good luck with what ever you decide to do with them

Re: Latest Acquisitions

I haven't added a figure to my loose vintage collection for a long time. Here's a recently acquired Takara alternate sculpt C-3PO partnered up with my wind-up R2-D2. https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4888/44951702265_4c7da93760_c.jpg That's a lovely set of droids you have there. Re: Latest Acquisitions

Thoughts. Recent win on eBay. Paid 1/10th what a complete one sold for on SWFUK a little while ago, so saw this is a bargain and only way I’ll ever afford one. The seller had attached a printed nameplate so it displays a little better, but I personally don’t like that. My idea is to either display ...

Re: Gray Hoth Trooper facts and not fiction

I'm hearing there is a change of thought on these grey limb Hoth Stormtroopers since the Palitoy Q&A at Coalville. Anyone got any details they can share on it? Surely there is no debate to the grey limbs being down to discolouration? This is from Fanthatracks written by Richard Some interesting...

Re: Has somebody sent me these by mistake ?

Very strange this is. A similar thing happened to me a couple years ago, received a DVD from amazon that neither me or my wife had ordered. Asked all our friends and family and know one had sent us anything. No record in the box of who had sent It, must have been a mistake at Amazon which is not th...
