Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 38, 2018, Part 1/2

Well I never, I too thought you only collected Jawas...is that a carded PBP?
What a stunning line up you have, and I must compliment you on the way they are displayed.
Many thanks for sharing.

Apack, is that a calendar that has the figures on each months picture and is a wall one?
If so can you tell me who prints/makes it, as I can’t find one like it in the Uk and would like to track one down.
Thanks in advance.
Nick.

Re: Card back rarity.

I would have thought that down the side are all the figures by release and across the top the card back numbers. You would have to compile a list for Kenner and one for Palitoy. Then use colours to represent rarity, i.e. green = easy to pick up, yellow = average, red = hard and purple = difficult. J...

Re: Build Your Own R2D2

Another few months gone... up to 88 now. Dome is complete.. body panels and main legs are done. Just got the centre foot to go and all the electronic wizardry to fit in the final issues. Also needs fully bolting/screwing together. Retraining bolt is a half size replica from eBay. 20180920_183727.jp...

Re: Reproduction Weapons

In fact, if i ever do build up an army of beater figures, I might very well buy repro blasters to outfit them! So I say more power to those who want to purchase them I’m sorry, I rarely disagree with collectors views on here as I believe each to their own, but... Buying repo just perpetuates the pr...

And before anyone makes any comments on the reflection on the ESB MOC... That's no moon, it's the top of my head!

Glad to see another follicly challenged and proud of it posting here...

Re: Card back rarity.

Something like that would be great. Not got much of an idea about how common/rare most of my cards are. Could be sitting on a goldmine! Exactly, I’ve no idea whether a 77 back “what ever” is rarer than a 65 back, but some members seem to. I’ve no idea who would be able to do this, as I would expect...

Re: Anyone at a loose end in town on 20th September.

Free booze and an auction, now that’s one hell of a mix! A shrewd business move I might add on the part of The Prop Store. The cost of a few cases of fizz will quickly be recouped with the boost in bids it brings. Certainly would, that’s what happens to me on late on a Friday night when on F...

Re: Anyone at a loose end in town on 20th September.

Glad to hear everyone that went had a great time. Free booze and an auction, now that’s one hell of a mix! I wanted to get up to town and see this all on display a few weeks before the auction but never made it. Shame really as there won’t be the chance to see those items together again. Looking at ...

Card back rarity.

A post by Spoons in “toy of the week” got me thinking.
He has posted his Cloud Car Pilot MOC and mentions that it’s a 79 back and difficult to find.
Is there a matrix anywhere that lists figure and cardback combinations and their rarity?
