Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 46, 2018, Part 1/2

My absolute favourite  I received a Trilogo cut card R2 for Xmas 85, I suspect in a stocking, and managed to find a replacement on eBay a year or two ago. You’ve hardly changed a bit... I see these cut cards around now and again, were they what kids did back then or some sort of fact...

Re: Moc valuation please

I don’t want to disagree but...I would place these a little higher.
Lando £55 difficult one due to the bubble crack, but a lovely card.
Madine £65
Nikto £50
These are priced without the acrylic.
Of course the price will depend where you sell them.
Good luck with what ever you decide to do with them

Re: Latest Acquisitions

I haven't added a figure to my loose vintage collection for a long time. Here's a recently acquired Takara alternate sculpt C-3PO partnered up with my wind-up R2-D2. https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4888/44951702265_4c7da93760_c.jpg That's a lovely set of droids you have there. Two that I would love i...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

Thoughts. Recent win on eBay. Paid 1/10th what a complete one sold for on SWFUK a little while ago, so saw this is a bargain and only way I’ll ever afford one. The seller had attached a printed nameplate so it displays a little better, but I personally don’t like that. My idea is to either display ...

Snaketibe wrote:Thanks for the reply. I agree £500 still sounds on the high side IMHO, but it makes the figure a damn sight more affordable than if it was 5 grand!

One of these “disco boots” varients sold for £1400 on FB in Sept 17! :o

Re: Gray Hoth Trooper facts and not fiction

I'm hearing there is a change of thought on these grey limb Hoth Stormtroopers since the Palitoy Q&A at Coalville. Anyone got any details they can share on it? Surely there is no debate to the grey limbs being down to discolouration? This is from Fanthatracks written by Richard Some interesting...

Re: Has somebody sent me these by mistake ?

Very strange this is. A similar thing happened to me a couple years ago, received a DVD from amazon that neither me or my wife had ordered. Asked all our friends and family and know one had sent us anything. No record in the box of who had sent It, must have been a mistake at Amazon which is not th...

Re: Has somebody sent me these by mistake ?

Maybe it’s a sign I should start a loose collection again. Sold all mine off last year as needed the funds (and couldn’t afford the last 17 in any case!). What are the prices like at the mo? Still crazy for the last 17 and the first 12 come to that, but there are bargains to be had. I think that pr...

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 45, 2018, Part 1/2

Thanks for showing your C3PO’s, I am shocked how much these go for now loose and carded! I remember when they were looked down upon and no one wanted them, wish I had bought every one that was going! The droids are great from this series of figures, such a shame that the bubbles go so yellow on all ...

Re: If anyone still needs convincing where the bargains are.......

Mate I couldn’t agree more. I’ve bought most of my collection on eBay and some of it here and I’ve definitely got all my best bargains there. Won this lot at auction this week, one of those ones that just went under the radar. Finished middle of the day.. £85. I need the Dig for my collection, I co...

The magic Mr Spoon came down from button moon and delivered me this full selection of micro vehicles C005933A-D92F-484F-8469-1C644C9BB12D.jpeg Being able to by them all in one go was a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one. Cheers Andy. Only 1 left now until I have the full production run Congratu...
