Re: Opening "modern" Star Wars carded figures

What Carl said... And as already posted in “Another arsehole” in Vintage collecting chat: I agree with Rich as POTF2 were “collected” from the start, they were rarely bought by children to play with. That’s why nearly 25 years later there are still loads in pristine condition and still cheap! Rememb...

Re: Another utter Arsehole

how dumb are some people. The obvious answer is very...as this guy has demonstrated! Some people just want the limelight and just don’t care about what others think. :( I agree with Rich as POTF2 were “collected” from the start, they were rarely bought by children to play with. That’s why nearly 25...

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 42, 2018, Part 1/2

Another mint example Jeremy. Very nice indeed. I agree with you on the battle damage stickers, best left off. Thanks Nick :-) It's a shame Kenner didn't come up with some sort of static cling stickers for the battle damage. That would have made them both removable and increased the play value as ki...

Re: Latest Modern Acquisitions

Hi guys, Not posted here before! As I’m a bit skint and have recently changed focus (again  ) I thought a bit of “New Age Vintage” aka Modern wouldn’t go a miss. So here we have POTF 2 Italian R2D2 53273DA1-9F92-49EF-A691-B4C4A50CF8CB.jpeg And an Canadian POTF R2D2 For those not familiar with ...

Re: I didnt know this...

That's a cool feature for Han Hoth, was that intentionally made or just a coincidence? I don't have a definitive answer (hopefully someone else here might though), however I can't see why the loop is present on his holster unless it was intended to be for holding his blaster. If it wasn't intention...

Re: Star Wars to Action Force

That’s it, so it was Crash, thanks for confirming. I used to have that mag regularly, it was a great read, but then they started to include the “free” cassette and the “mag” shrunk to a few pages. I gave it up then as my Spectrum also gave up the ghost! I stopped gaming then until the PS 1 came out,...

Welcome Phil, I would urge you to think twice before selling your childhood toys.

Re: Star Wars to Action Force

Great times indeed, and as you say, often fruitless! I always found it amazing that the covers of these mags bear no resemblance to the games! That’s not the mag I used to have, it was only for Spectrum and in the later days had a “free” cassette of playable demons on the front cover, could have bee...
