Re: General Grumbling

Being critised for using a dealer to buy or sell stuff, surely collectors should be free to buy and sell as they wish.

All Kenner 12 Back C3P0 £3750, Han £3500, Vader £3400 all priced higher than there Palitoy Counterparts that was unheard of a few years ago, Kenner is no longer a cheaper collecting option.

Re: Is Kenner worth more than Palitoy?

21 Back Fett for £21500 and that's not a particularly rare figure. Kenner has had a real lift since the high value Telescopic sales at the Hakes Auction.

Re: Price sticker removal.....growing in popularity??

Personally I don't like price stickers much but I have them on a few pieces in my collection as I could not get the pieces without them as they were part of collections I bought. I think when collectors decide to sell then their priorities change and maximising value becomes key and historical impo...

Re: Price sticker removal.....growing in popularity??

One of the collections I bought the collector actively tried to remove price stickers by soaking the stickers in lighter fluid, at least that was the method he explained to me. This was done before I bought the collection so I presume he did this to maximise the value of the collection.

Re: General Grumbling

I find the anti grading brigade quite comical as many of them buy graded pieces and crack them open afterwards thereby supporting the very industry they allegedly hate.
