Re: Full MOC run

I’m just 2 away from a full Palitoy carded set, with each character on the correct movie cardback, although a few of the rarer ones are more affordable reseals or cut bubbles. I’ve been working on this for some 20 years and was lucky to get a good head start before the prices rose to current levels....

Fantastic research and well presented conclusions, nice one Laurence. I’m looking for one of these, it’s great to have a reference guide to help avoid the repro’s, thanks.

Re: Latest Acquisitions

New arrival today, a UK 1982 Star Wars laserdisc in the British PAL format, opened, but with the original shrink wrap still attached. I love the classic imagery on this. Does anyone know whether it should have come with an insert? 31AC91EC-2964-4D2B-82C1-C5921AF43978.jpeg A472FA92-56C2-411B-AFC1-072...

Re: Where do you listen to The Vintage Rebellion?

I listen in the car, it’s about a 40 minute commute to work and TVR teally makes the time pass quickly. I’ve also had a couple of odd looks from other motorists as I’m laughing out loud at some of the banter!

Re: Latest Acquisitions

Few more army builders for the Rebel Soldier and Rebel Commando. Both the RS are actually very nice examples. A Yoda handpuppet as it was sillly cheap and I’ve never had one and a MoC... all picked at Shepton Mallet toy fair I haven't been to that fair for years! It was great for vintage in the 90s...

Another new acquisition this week - a UK Empire press release issued from Elstree Studios, dated about April 1979, bound in booklet form between glossy covers featuring the early McQuarrie ‘Vader in flames’ logo. The press release has 16 pages and gives details on the production including the recent...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

I’ve received this lot in the post this week, from a recent auction win. A good mix of items, and mostly in great condition. Some rare items that are new to me, and some good upgrades to pieces I already have - really pleased with these.

Re: Latest Acquisitions

It’s always good to finish a little run! I’ve received the Eagle comic in the red printed bag today to complete the set of 3 UK Jedi sticker albums bundled with comics, all released on 10th September 1983. If memory serves me right, I got my original sticker album with this Eagle comic back in the d...

Re: Which MOC is best - thoughts please.

The answer is simple, it's whichever one YOU want to keep most. It's such a subjective choice that only you can make it. Show us some pics of the one you decide to hang on to!
