Re: Vader Starfire Badge

Could be £15 to £20, they don’t come up very often.

Re: SWF at Echo Live - add names here - 20th Oct, Redditch.

I had a brilluant day at my first Echo Live, very pleased with my purchases but the highlight was the chance to chat with so many great people - lovely to meet some new faces from the forum. Thanks especially to David for the Leia, a very special figure for me. Next up Farthest From, can’t wait!

Re: Please ID ?

Did I mention its my holiday bag too? Suits you sir! Pomse2001, I've not seen any dates on the labels for these, but I think it's a reasonable guess that they are Jedi-era bearing in mind that they have the Jedi logo and characters. They are not easy to find but they do come up occasionally on eBay...

Re: Please ID ?

These are made by British company Frankel & Roth, under the brand name Bags of Character. There are 6 backpacks in total, 3 red and 3 blue, with different characters and designs. I think they most likely date from 1983-84 but I've also seen it suggested that they may be later, from around 1990. ...

Re: THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 52 LAUNCHED

Hi guys, great listen once again. Simon was missed, but I was really pleased that Jez could make such a full contribution. It can't have been easy with the connection and timing issues. Interviews were good, Jason had some interesting tales and I also enjoyed Cazza's recollections of the vintage mas...

Re: Toy of the year ?

In my opinion, keep it simple yes, but the Palitoy Death Star needs to be in the playsets list alongside the Kenner one, it's a great contender for top spot.

Re: South West/Bristol/Gloucester Meet 6th Oct Indian or Thai?

I’m not going to make this one unfortunately, it’s a 2 hour + drive for me and we’ve got other things on that weekend. Maybe next time especially if it’s a bit further south. Great idea though Andy and I hope it’s successful enough t9 become regular.

Re: Show of your truly rare items

That's correct Andy, it's a mock up from a Bridge Farm Dairy's ex employee. They never released a Mandarin flavour. The original artwork is handpainted onto a thicker card around the pot and the foil is sealed on, sans yoghurt :P A truly unique piece. That is a fantastic piece, congratulations. I’v...

Re: Show of your truly rare items

Some of the items you guys have are outstanding! I particularly love the 12" '3PO with articulated joints and as for your bronze version, you just have to contact me if ever you part with that 8) A bit kitsch but i also love stuff like that Pendulum poster that comes with the media kit x Okay ...

Re: THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 51 LAUNCHED

Great listen as always chaps, thank you. I must confess I was concerned hearing that one of the topics in Rebel Briefings was shorter podcasts, so it was good to hear that it’s only Jez’s absence that will affect my listening pleasure over the next few months! All the best over there Jez and hopeful...
