Re: 70s/80s Toy Shops

Barnett's toy shop on Elgin Crescent, London W11 - had a huge range of SW back in the early 80s, this was the only place I saw the Rancor, Max Rebo band and last 17 on sale. I don't remember buying anything from there as in comparison to the other shops it was expensive. Also had Patrick's toys on L...

Re: Garden Yoda

I like the quirkiness of it. Price wise it's a bit high for a garden ornament.

If it were made out of resin, it wouldn't weigh so much and you could send them in the post.

Re: Keith & Paddy's Picture Show - Return of The Jedi

I saw the beginning and the end. It was daft though fairly funny in places.

Watch Lego Star Wars Droid Tales instead it's much better.

Correct pronunciation of character names

It has just occurred to me that I may have been mispronouncing Stars Wars characters names for almost 40 years. For example, I still use: Boba Fett - Bobber Fett (Which I now know is Bow-Ba) Weequay - Wee-Key Nien Numb - Nye en numb Logray - Low Grey Klaatu - Klaar too So how do you pronounce their ...

I've never owned a Snowspeeder. I always wanted one as a kid but never got one. I bought a modern one some years ago, but it's not the same.

Re: Ebay tip

Actually, I just may have found an easier way to do the same thing. In the search bar can type in -repro and/or -replica after whatever you happen to be searching for. For example: vintage star wars blaster -repro -replica Ebay should now list all items without repro or replica blasters etc. Gotta ...

Re: Ever found anything Star Wars in an unusual place?

So that I don't seem like a complete weirdo, I should probably explain how my R2D2 pencil topper ended up in my friend's pants. I took the Star Wars pencil toppers into school in my pencil case when I was about 6 or 7. R2D2 went missing, I was told that a friend of mine had stolen it, which absolute...
