Re: What's the most underrated Star Wars toy?

I liked the AST-5 weaponized coffin, I had more fun with that than any other mini rig or ship

Re: Bargain / Discount /Sale retail thread

I went to the Disney Store in Lakeside Thurrock yesterday - all the Star Wars and most Marvel toys are gone. I guess no point selling them if no-one is buying.

Re: How did you store your figures first time round?

They did live in the falcon, and then on the shelf and the last time I saw them a plastic washing power bucket. The adult collection live in RUBs.

Re: Luke Jedi Variants

I believe molded face/head and painted face/head is related to COO. I think molded face/head is Taiwan but I might be wrong.

R2D2 help please

To help finish off the first 77 loose, complete and mint, I need to get either an R2D2 sensor scope or solid dome. I'm not too fussed which one I get as it's not a figure I particularly like hence it taking 12 years to get around to looking for one to buy. So the questions are, is one harder to obta...

Re: Any new stories to do with dealing with the other half?

I wish I had one. My collects other stuff so completely understands my obsession. The only downside is that she's extremely clumsy, she will throw her bra at the washing bin at night time and still manages to knock my figures down.

A bit off topic

I just listed a non-Star Wars action figure and in ten minutes I've had two people message me to ask if I'll do a buy it now for less than the item is worth.

Re: idiot

A law should be passed banning all morons and opportunists from even being able to look at Vintage Star Wars let alone obtain them.

Re: Need help identifying 2 blasters

They do look dubious. I wouldn't bother with the float test, even repro from the 90s float. They should both bend a little under stress, there also shouldn't be superfluous flashing (excess plastic) and the details should be sharp and distinct. It's also a lot easier if you can compare your blasters...

Re: At what age does it drop off?

Some people don't even remember their childhood let alone get nostalgic about it. I was speaking to a 69-year-old recently and he didn't even know where he lived as a kid. Your brain changes as you get older, for most other people (not the moron above) they get more sentimental and nostalgic as they...

Re: Loose figures

Spare figures wise, they're all beaters with no accessories and nothing worth trading. It's stuff like bib, a manky chirpa, naked squidhead, discoloured pruneface, 3x nikto etc. Weapons wise, I only have a blue Bespin Blaster and a grey CCP/TFP blaster - both float tested and checked against the gun...

Re: Loose figures

That is a bargain. Shame I don't have £50

If they don't sell would you consider splitting?
