Re: Latest Acquisitions

Finally added a priority piece to my Rebel Commando focus. The ever elusive and existence debated Kenner ROTJ 65A China COO molded face Rebel Commando. I was elated to find this piece on eBay. And it happened to be on a day eBay had a 15% off promotion. I got this from the same seller that was ment...

Re: POSITIVE ONLY - Movie/scene list

I adore the Carbon Freezing Chamber scenes in Empire. The colours and lighting are simply breath-taking, the set simple, but perfect. Carrie never looked more beautiful to me than she did on Bespin, plus we get the drama (alright, if you're a kid watching it for the first time) of not knowing what'...

Re: too many eagle eyes

That's just fucking stupid! indeed my friend  Don't get me wrong, I'm partial to a bit of variant collecting, but forking out that kind of money for this figure is daft. Personally I prefer to buy lots and see if you strike gold. Far more satisfying to happen across a hidden gem for a few quid...

Re: POSITIVE ONLY - Movie/scene list

The battle scenes in both ESB and ROTJ have always been my favourites. Particularly the climatic battle on ROTJ that plays out on three fronts on Endor's moon, in the space above and between father and son. So as to not be too broad I love the scene when Han fools the Imperials out of the command bu...

Re: And This Is Why I Hate Toxic "Fan" Boys and Their Bitching!

To suppose that any toxicity is prevalent on only one side of the argument over the other is daft. Since TLJ I've been seeing some nasty bile spew from both sides. It's a bit like politics really; most people who fall left or right of centre have a great deal more in common with one another than tha...

Bloody brilliant find! Absolutely love it.

Re: Kenobi Movie

I'm not the biggest fan of McGregor, but I'd be interested to to see what he can do with another shot at Kenobi. I think the cast of the Prequels weren't given the best shot at being able to give their best performances. Mainly due to having to act with little to no actual environment or other on-sc...

I'm guessing it's the Clipper stickers what done it.

Re: THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 48 LIVE

Another cracking episode, lads. Particularly enjoyed Andy Goulding's interview. Took me right back to hunting in the 90s. :) Another excellent Market Watch from Simon. I liked Richard's advice on what I should have done with the auction house that screwed me on the "original vintage"...

Looks like someone just paid £160 for a Stormtrooper and a standard blue/black blaster.

Re: palitoy chewbacca for £3200 mmmm

There's a billy bullshit dealer who doesn't know his arse from his elbow down this way. He's been doing the carboot for years. I've avoided him for about 18 months because I was sick to death of the crap he peddled. Almost everytime you walked up it was "Oh, you should have come yesterday, I h...
