Would also be helpful to know if they are moc or loose as well.

Re: As described or not?

I'm in a similar situation, got a lot that was not really as described. I've had a chat with a couple of people, hoping to get a resolution on Monday. I'd recommend contacting them, they are friendly and the guy I spoke to on Friday is a collector himself so they are understanding, although certainl...

No, it's a standard punch on the card, just perspective and a bit of wear on the punch making it look like that :)

Re: Vintage SW is still affordable - £50 or less MOCs latest acquisitions

I got a cheeky logray for £21, sadly it arrived with a cracked bubble after being damaged in transit. Also got a nice 8D8 trilogo for just over £40. This thread keeps me motivated to hunt for bargains! WP_20170624_09_48_25_Pro.jpg WP_20170624_09_48_09_Pro.jpg WP_20170615_21_21_12_Pro.jpg WP_20170615...

Re: Auction Purchase - Reseal?

To be fair I was ok with what I'd bid, but if the Vader isn't factory sealed then ouch basically.

Re: Auction Purchase - Reseal?

Thanks for the input everyone it's really appreciated. Edd/spoons, that was my reckoning when I put my bid in. The amount I bid was based on the Vader and the left-most Ackbar being factory sealed, I don't think the description is as helpful as it is on other lots. I'll send them an email, see where...

Re: Auction Purchase - Reseal?

Thanks. There were plenty of lots that were declared as reseals which sold a fair bit cheaper.

Re: Auction Purchase - Reseal?

No, not sold as reseals. I wasn't worried about the three middle ones as they're obviously knackered but thought the Vader and left-most Ackbar were ok when I first looked at the pic.

Auction Purchase - Reseal?

I won a set of figures on the recent vectis auction and am due to pick them up next week. I was taking another look at the auction pic post-auction and noticed the Vader card looks like it might be a re-seal, . I'm hoping it isn't but would appreciate the board's thoughts before picking it up. Why d...

Re: Vectis Auction - 40th Anniversary Sale

Basically anything that was moc and up to £100 I put a cheeky bid on, hoping I'll get lucky and win a few pieces. Overall cost after commission would be around 4k and I'd end up with about twelve bib fortunas - but at an average of £40 odd quid per lot I won't end up with much... Probably just 12 bi...

Re: Vectis Auction - 40th Anniversary Sale

I've put a total of 75 bids in, all low end bids on low end stuff but hoping to come away with something if I'm lucky. Good luck to everyone bidding later today!

Re: Vintage SW is still affordable - £50 or less MOCs latest acquisitions

:D having until recently been a modern collector it's taking a while to adjust to the slow burn that is vintage collecting. I'm still buying new stuff mainly astromechs but the buzz isn't there as it's all available all the time. When I get my first moc vintage astromech I'll be over the moon! Nice ...
