Re: Latest Acquisitions

Haha just thought this needed a mention, iv'e just been looking back at the very first acquisitions in this thread in 2006 and spotted this one, I can't believe those 5 graded MOC's were £500. I know, it's ridiculous how much things have changed! Back then I would pick up most MOCs for unde...

Re: Earliest Vintage SW Memories

If we're not strictly talking about the toys, I also remember my earliest memory of watching Star Wars on telly at about 4 or 5 years old. I very clearly remember playing in the hallway in our flat and my dad calling me from the living room telling me SW was starting, I remember running into the liv...

Re: Build Your Own R2D2

That looks really nice, satisfying to see it nearly complete, and for them to add the extra effort in for the addition of a scaled lightsaber with 'ejection' mechanism is just too sweet. :)

Re: Marvel Vintage Star Wars figure variant comics

I'm only missing a few, the black & white Luke Skywalker #1 is the only one out of my grasp. I had 6 of those after they first appeared on ebay.com, bought them for like £50 each and flipped them for £150 each several months after, really wish i'd have kept them now though because I think they'...

Re: Reproduction Weapons

Buying complete loosies with weapons iv'e found is the best money saver, compared to sourcing the weapons separately and individually which can cost a small fortune to complete a collection. Iv'e had a few occasions where a seller has individually listed several figures complete that iv'e bought, an...

Re: Surly a price typo?!

There's actually another 2 threads on this  but I messaged the moron when he first listed it, he had it originally described as a mint vintage figure with not a single word of it being a repro, and at this same price too. He never messaged me back but quickly changed the listing to add "re...

Re: Earliest Vintage SW Memories

The absolute very first memory I can think of is playing with my older brother's Millennium Falcon when I was about 4, I used to get my MOTU Orko figure and hide him inside the space between the two mandibles. I never had any SW toys bought for me because we all just played with our older brother's ...

Wow, that's mental!

"Could be a prototype test shot figure" is the part of the description that's probably hooked people in. :?

Well that would be the first one iv'e heard of so far, not to say that it's not a true variant but the metallic finish just looks weird to me.

Re: £210 for a damaged White TIE FIGHTER?

Shit like this really pisses me off when I look back at several auctions iv'e listed when the item went for like half it's actual fucking value, and then something stupid like this gets mega bids from everyone fighting each other for it.... :|
