Re: General Grumbling

One of mine is a Star Destroyer shaped like a small box.... really? Never had or seen one as a kid but as an adult I think it was a poor / lazy idea, surely it couldn't have hurt to make a fucking badass long ship almost the length of your average living room rug, other toy franchises made massive l...

Re: £5k????????

"A great investment opportunity"... who for the seller?? the only opportunity i'm seeing here is to lose a lot of money.

Plus I love how many pictures he's taken of all the different angles so you can see what you're getting for your money..... yellowed bubble too! :|

Re: Customs Charges

Yeah, understandable. Common courtesy dictates he could at least drop you mail to say he hadn't marked it as a gift. Though given it has a cracked bubble, I assume you're sending it back, or looking for a partial refund. If it's the latter, I'd be looking for a little more than normal given he has ...

Re: Customs Charges

Iv'e just paid £20.50 for a MOC that cost me £77 because the seller decided at the last minute not to send it as a gift like they said they would, because and I quote "I found out it's illegal to send it as a gift"...... :| gotta watch out for that SWAT team smashing into your house becau...

Re: i believe that R1 will be a future cult classic

Agree with all comments here, plus is it just me or does the CGI with all the ships in RO seem more realistic than TLJ?? Watching TLJ looking at ships i'm like hmm that looks nice, but when I watch RO i'm like wow fucking hell that looks great, there are moments when ships look so good it looks like...

Re: Investor or Collector?

I bought a X-Men 1 CGC 8.0 4 years ago and it has more than doubled in value so from an investment perspective comics are a much better buy than Star Wars in my opinion. Comic Books in general are quite common as in you can go on Ebay and buy one easily so long as you have the disposable income but...

Re: WTF IS THIS?

If the bond on those feet is permanent to hold it in place where it needs to be broken off to remove it from the case, then it's ruined plain and simple. :|

And I have a strange feeling it's this seller who's putting these together at home and pretending they've been graded by a company.

Re: WTF IS THIS?

I'm trying to see how Chewie is held in place. I hope he hasn't used superglue on the feet and Fucked up another figure. I can see sellotape holding his Wookiee bowcaster in place. Oh shit yeah, plus it's one of those basic display cases you can grab off ebay with the sliding back, there's no way t...
