Re: How do you clean figures?

Yeah wet wipes here too, and then a careful dry off with a soft cloth/hand towel, works great on sticky figures.

Re: When was the last time you saw a carded figure out in the wild?

My last time was around the late 80's when I was about 7 or 8, I remember going to a hardware shop with my dad and I was standing at the front door while he was paying for stuff at the till and there was a large box / discount bin right next to the front door outside and remember looking at the figu...

Re: Is this 77B Fett worth buying?

I think this should survive in transit too, if it was a trilogo style bubble where the figure inside can move around and knock against the cracks then i'd be worried, but since nothing is moving inside this one i'd say it's safe unless there's some extreme vibrations.

Re: Why do most SW fans say ESB is the best film in the OT?

ROTJ all the way for me, it's the grand conclusion to an epic trilogy, and what a way to finish it. But I agree with the comment above about Star Wars somehow being my favourite too? it's a weird thing, ROTJ is my my most enjoyable film to watch, but SW goes back a long way for me as it has my...

Re: VCJ?

See, the thing with this colour is it's either a Ben cape OR it has a possibility of being a TT VCJ as I've had in the past. But, saying that, in this case the cape seems to be too long plus at a glance the actual figure does not have the discolouring (i.e. faded legs and spots) that a TT VCJ norma...

Re: How Many Known Examples Exist?

That Hoth Trooper story is pretty awesome, i'm taking it owners of other examples spotted this news online and checked what they had in their collections and found the same one that they never knew they had, then decided to cash in on it's rarity, which is why several of them surfaced just after you...

Re: How Many Known Examples Exist?

Seeing that baby grappling and manhandling that mint Subbuteo box is making me cringe. The damage.... the damage !!! It's funny, that. I unearthed my childhood Subbuteo teams from the loft amongst other things. Whilst there may not be a stash of carded figures waiting to be uncovered, I do th...

Re: Someone local has contacted me this morning with figures

Ahh that's a shame, at least there's a couple of vintage figures mixed in with them, which shows there's loads of possible gems to be found out there hidden among stuff waiting to be found.

Re: How Many Known Examples Exist?

Its an impossible question to answer, how could anyone ever know how many still exist or are even available. I still believe there mocs stored away that people are just unaware that they are even around them. Just sitting waiting to be found in a loft or even in storage in old shops forgotten about...
