Re: Toy of the year ?

I think this is a great idea. I really enjoy the forum figure of the year and I would love the card art variation on the theme too. If you’re going to do this Lars, and I hope you do, i would suggest doing the toy one now or in the summer and not to close to Stu’s as it will dilute the popularity of...

Re: Reproduction Weapons

At the end of the day it is up to the individual how they want to collect and no one should be forced to collect in a specific way or made to feel an outcast in the community because they do so. Nevertheless, I do recognise that there is a problem when unscrupulous sellers try to pawn off repros to...

Re: Reproduction Weapons

. . . . I did actually buy some of the new floating repros . . . . Could I ask what these figures are, please? I am interested as they may be some affordable alternatives for my son to collect? Please don’t do this. If you’re going to buy Repro for your son just pick up the old Repro that is grey, ...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

that dark brown haired luke is really nice! I don't think I've ever had one, had plenty of the blonde and standard brown but not dark brown is he quite sort after ? They don’t come up all that often so imagine they’re a bit pricier than the blondes. I’ve seen a couple go for around £100 plus on FB....

Re: THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 51 LAUNCHED

Sorry Stu. There’s so many issues arising in the hobby at the moment I just couldn’t recall when it had happened. It already feels like so long ago because there was a flare up on Jabba’s to do with Jeff’s baggies again. No biggie mate was just trying to explain how in advance shows are made, there...

Wow some lovely stuff on display here. He’s my entry. My Palitoy Hoth Wampa. When I got onto eBay in 2003 it was the first boxed item I bought. I don’t have any of my childhood stuff but my Mum used to work in BHS and that’s where most of my Star Wars stuff came from, so it’s kind of secondhand chil...

Re: Isnt it strange how plastic and adhesive determines this hobby

Yep, that bit of glue can make all the difference in the world to many collectors. The same can be said for adhesive tape on sealed boxed items. Otherwise identical boxed items can command very different prices depending on whether that little piece of sticky tape has been slit open with a knife ;-...
